I was in a daze as I walked home. Even though it was done in secret, I had been adoring my boss for the last week.
Last week, no matter how hard I tried, his profile kept coming to my mind, and today I saw him and found it really troubling. Now, despite my best efforts to despise him, I find him more appealing and fascinating, and just when I thought I'd keep his friendship but end things as friends, I find out he's my boss. Is that even possible? I had been discreetly looking for the hospital's owner, and I had expected him to be an elderly man in his fifties, but I had never envisioned someone as young as Samuel.
Everyone at the hospital was young, which I enjoyed, but having that young, attractive man as my employer was something I had never expected.
