Ayla's POV I knew that there were things my mind was not going to be able to take lightly and then it was also clear that I wasn't in any way welcomed to the Packhouse. I needed to lay my head low, but then it would be easier said than done. I was inside the room, and I couldn't get myself to forget the fact that I was inside the room with them while they were having an argument. It was not one of the best things to do but still it went better than what I had expected. I sat on the bed trying to put my head through all that had happened in that room and I was not even sure that anything was going to make it possible for me to think otherwise with them. ‘If that foolish doctor didn't make this mistake then maybe I wouldn't be in this mess!’ My thoughts were loud but at least no one would judge me for it. Knock..Knock I turned to the door, and it was rather strange. I wasn't expecting anyone, maybe the Alpha wanted to speak with me and see how I was fairing but then.. I got up and walked to the door slowly opening it, expecting to see the Alpha but instead it was the Luna. “Luna Reona.” I bowed my head knowing that there was a chance that she would not even want to stand there longer than five minutes I stepped out of the way so she would walk in. She stood by the door for a little while, staring at me while she stood there clearly judging me but then I didn't know what I was going to expect from me in any way. She walked in, slowly and elegantly as if to exert the fact that I was nothing but dirt beneath her boots. Moving to the center of the room she paused there, looking at me with empty eyes. It was then that she spoke.. “I don't know how, or why you even got entangled with Lukas in the first place. I dont give a damn and I never will but there is one thing you should know.” She moved closer to me, and I took subtle steps back trying to stay clear of her anger knowing that she was not going to be going easy on me if there was something to make her move like that. “You aren't welcome here, your very existence reeks of weakness and insignificance. You aren't even meant to be here, or even exist in this pack.” I moved back hitting the wall, I was cornered and there was nothing I could do to move anymore. “You should know this child, I am not going to let you stay here longer than you should. So I would love you to know this, the faster you push out that thing in your stomach which is the only reason why Lukas brought you here in the first place the better it will be for all of us.” I kept my face down, there was nothing on my mind that I would be able to say to her. She stood there, trying to see if I was going to break or if it was that my imagination. I couldn’t even move or say anything to counter her. After she was content with looking at me, she turned away moving to the door. Once close to it, she paused, taking everything with caution she turned and looked at me. “I would tell you to enjoy these nine months, because I believe that this will be the only time you will be able to get a whiff of such wealth.” Slamming the door behind her, she left the room. I didn’t wait a second before going back to the bed and lying down. ‘Oh thank goodness, I didn’t know what I was going to do if she didn’t leave.’ But she was right on some parts.. Aside from the fact that she hated me for whatever reason that be. This was the first time in a long time that I wasn’t going to be struggling to make sure that things were in order. It was going to be a fun nine months, and I knew I would make the most out of it. Knock knock.. I didn’t know when I almost yelled at whoever it was this time. I got up and moved to the door, opening it I didn’t even expect him to be the one there. “Alpha Lukas.” Heavens still owe me an explanation on how they managed to make one so handsome and so unbearable. His cold gaze managed to make my legs weak, but I wasn’t going to show it in front of him knowing that he was not the type of person to take a liking to weakness. “Can I at least come in?” He asked, and it was then that I realized that I had been blocking the way. I hurriedly moved out of the way, it was not going to be funny if he were to say something harsh to me like that. “Forgive me..” I bowed my head, and he stood there looking at me like I was doing something wrong. “Stop acting like that,” He sounded disgusted. I looked up, confused a bit about what in the world he was talking about. “Stop what?” “If you let everyone talk down on you every moment they get then you will be nothing but a rag doll.” He said as he walked into the room, I stood by the door both confused and surprised. Was the Alpha talking to me like a calm person? I closed the door and turned to look at him. With him inside the room, it felt a lot smaller and it was a bit alarming how that was even possible. “Is there anything I can do for you?” I asked, I didn’t even know what it was that I would be able to do for an Alpha. “Yes, there is one.” He answered. Well, that did take me by surprise. He turned to look at me. “Take your top off.”
