LAWLESS CITY

the arrival

after carefully cultivating my plan for years i finally succeeded i have everyone in the city rapped up in my finger, this whole God damn city will go down if i want it too. I succeeded in becoming a chief judge at the age of 33 and i have been the number one chief judge for the pass 5 years.

see people are really easy to manipulate after carefully replaying my plan and making sure they was no mistake i finally put it into action and the first thing i did was to get all the gangster in California to work under me, with my protection their activities has been kept to a minimum but they are safe and untouchable. then i killed my father the stupid man was planing on disowning me just cause i had a baby he made his death come sooner than expected and trust me i felt nothing but pleasure and i actually did it with my own bare hands. after that i gave a his wealth to the public and some orphanage, this particular move was intentionally made to steal the people's heart what they didn't know is what i will be taking from them will be bigger than what they are getting. after that i killed everyone that stood in my way to achieve my goal, yes its a bit brutal but i really don't care. all i want is to have everything i dream of and to obtain it with my own hands just so i can show that bastard that i made it without him. i couldn't help the smile that appeared on my face the day i told him i wanted to be a chief judge he actually gave me a slap and said i was an ungrateful child and i should be contented with what i have. he also said my little success so far was due to the fact that i was related to him.

killing him gave me great pleasure and a great relief he should go and be with his wife.

now the new problem i have on my hands is the governor. he doesn't want to sign the project that i have planned for years and would be my key to wealth. after begging me to help him win the election he is now thinking he can push me aside but he doesn't know what's coming.

myself and the big six are the ones who truly run the town whatever we say goes and i think we need to remind him of that.

I picked up my phone and called one of the six gave out my orders and now am waiting for the result. the governor won't live to see his birthday that's coming up in three days and i will make sure of it. he would regret the day he decided to cross me.

John's POV *****

when we arrived at California the first thing Marcus did was to go to his mom's greave. he stayed they for about three hours before coming to the office, this office is very significant to him cause it was his mother's office and she was killed here. Marcus begged his uncle to buy the building in his name which he did and it has been rebuilt for a while waiting for his arrival.

when Marcus got to the office the twins were already they waiting for him, the first thing they did was to familiarize with one another then discuss what their first move would be.

Marcus wasn't one for plenty talk so he let the twins do most of the talking. he was wondering how he would tell Rose that the one she idolised so much was the one behind everything but he decided against it, it was still early and he didn't want uncertainty and division between them yet.

he took them to the house, gave them a room each and went off to only God knows where. he said he would have our first case ready in the next three days so for now we should just get use to the city.

third person's POV *****

since Marcus was well know immediately he got into California and settled down be went to see the governor, they had met on a few occasion and were a little bit familiar with one another he had also helped him before.

the thing is Marcus know about the plan to kill the governor but he doesn't want to stop it. the corrupt man is part of the people he was planning to remove from the city. his informant had already told him about the disagreement between the governor and judge Monica, he knew her methods and as a gangster he can guess what she was planning even before he was told of the plan.

when he told his team that he will be getting them their first case in three days this was what he meant. he had arrange with the governor to be his personal lawyer in charge of all his dealings, and since the governor was already on judge Monica's bad side he knew he needed a dependable and efficient lawyer by his side. and since Marcus has never lost a case and had a good career he was more than willingly to have him by his side.

Marcus had dinner with the governor and was given an invitation to his birthday party that was suppose to be in three days. Marcus asked the governor for three more invitation stating that he would be attending it with his team mates. the governor was quite relied to have a man like Marcus by his side he knew exactly what he was capable of and knew he needed him if he would stand a chance against Monica.

after dinner they signed their agreement, talked a little and said their good bye.

unknown to the governor Marcus had paid a reporter to follow them and take pictures of them. his new agreement with the governor will be all over the news by tomorrow and this will spite Monica and make her make her move a little bit sooner and if luck be on his side she might just make a mistake. this little announcement wasn't only made for Monica but for the whole of California also to know of his arrival
