when Marcus got home he gave each one of his team mates their invitation, he also asked them to go get their outfits ready and that they will be getting their first case after the birthday celebration.

though they were all wondering what he meant they didn't question him.

Rose went out of the house in a hurry saying she has an appointment but the guys all know were she was off too, the person that sent the anonymous mail to them deliberately left out the part were judge Monica is their leader out each time he sent Rose a mail. knowing fully well what she met to her.

it hurt Phillip leaving his sister in the dark but it was all necessary to tear down that devil's vail so his sister would know who she thoroughly was.

the guys had a silent agreement not to tell Rose until its time and to use Rose to get close to her, they were she wasn't going to spill the bean because they all made an agreement not to tell a single soul what their motive is for coming back.

judge Monica was really excited when she saw Rose, Rose was like a daughter to her, and she was happy when she heard rose decided to follow her foot step and became a lawyer. but what she couldn't get out of her mind was the reason for the sudden return of the twins. Phillip has always kept his distance so she knew she wont be able to get a word out of him so she invited Rose for dinner instead.

"how are you rose?" am fine mom, and you?

judge Monica smiled a warm smile, one she only showed Rose.

am glad you still consider me your mother dear, i initially thought you might have forgotten about me since we haven't been in touch for a while.

bringing the wine to her lips, she inhaled its sweet smell before taking a sip watching rose thoughtfully. she did love rose and it broke her heart that she was the reason this girl was in pain. but she has too achieve her goals at all cost no tie will stop her.

rose gave her one of her best smile, she has missed her terribly. judge Monica was like a mom to her. after the death of her parents she was the one that took care of them and paid their fees, she owned everything she had to this woman and she would definitely pay her back for all the love and support she has shown her and her brother.

she saw her as her role model, her judgement were always pure and true, she is the first female judge in the state and she is a world renowned judge. she is also the youngest judge in the state history. this woman single handedly created her empire, she gave away all her wealth to the poor, she even visits he orphanage weekly and takes care of all the kids in the state orphanage. she is definitely a force to recon with and the best role model for her. she wants more than anything to be just like her. she ask herself what would judge Monica do in every situation.

rose was brought back to reality when she felt a light touch on her shoulders. judge Monica asked what she was thinking but rose just smiled and brushed it off saying it was nothing special.

half way through the dinner judge Monica decided to finally ask the question she has been wondering about.

so tell me dear what brought you to town?

rose***

nothing special mom, just here to settle some old score.

judge Monica****

old score you say? she asked with a grin. child I. have known you for a long time you don't have enemies. you are a sweet child so tell me what this old score is maybe i can help.

rose***

I don't think i should tell anyone about our plan though she might be able to help later on, i will talk to the guys about it she thought.

don't worry mom its really nothing special, when i feel like i can't handle it anymore i will definitely ask for help.

I don't know why am being paranoid. i mean ever since rose told she she was back in the city i have been having this feelings i can't describe it, and i feel like she is hiding something from me but i won't push it she will come around in due time.

okay dear, how about i drop u off after dinner?

rose accepted the offer to drop her and after dinner judge Monica dropped her off at her new home.

but her facial expression suddenly changed and her smile dropped but rose didn't seem to notice. with a frown she asked rose why are you staying here? seeing that her question seems a little weird she quickly added why not stay with me.

rose just smiled and said she would have loved too but this house was arranged by a friend of hers. judge Monica just nodded, they said their goodbyes but judge Monica didn't leave instantly. she still felt uneasy this house use to belong to deceased best friend and it has not been occupied for years and now all of a sudden the twins are in town and they are leaving here. it didn't sit well with her, she was a fast thinker and even faster at taking decisions.

she called one of her minions and asked them to check who owns the house and why the twins were in town, her guts are never wrong so if her guts is telling her that they is more to this then they is definitely more to this.

she stayed a little longer looking at the house reminiscing what had happened in the past, her grip on the wheel became tighter and her knuckles turned white.

if only the fool didn't get in my way she thought. after a few minutes of staring at the house she finally drove away. unknown to her a figure in the dark was watching her from the minute she dropped rose till wen she left.
