the birthday

photos of Marcus and the governor were officially everywhere and people were talking. the news spread like wild fire and everyone was talking about it, people started coming to the firm to offer them jobs. since they saw the news they went to do a background check on him and found out that he is the famous lawyer of Mexico that has never lost a case who now has a branch here in California.

seeing that the governor was making him his personal lawyer, senior personnel were tripping in from everywhere.

part one of the plan was complete Marcus thought to himself and he has the attention he wanted, he was now going to wait and see what the CIRCLE would do.

the governor's birthday party is tomorrow and sadly it would be his last day on earth Marcus thought. he could easily stop this but he won't, Marcus hate those who think they are above the law, he has made his bed and he was definitely going to lay on it. he already has the evidence he needs though it won't be enough. he doesn't want to just send each member to jail, he wants them to crumble, he wants them to beg, he wants them to wish for death. he was going to make sure that they suffer same and feel pain.

judge Monica's office****

a strange man walks in her office with an envelop in his hands, he bowed his head to show her respect without saying a word.

Monica ordered him to speak, "tell me what you found out".

the twins really doesn't have any motive for coming back, i have checked they have been here for a fee days but they haven't done anything other than shopping and going around the city, they haven't even taken any case yet.

she answered with just a nod and he went ahead to say

that same lawyer is leaving with them and is the head of the firm. this confused monica she had to ask if he was the owner. her spy told her Marcus is not the owner of both buildings and suggested that maybe he rented it.

but explanation didn't sit right with someone as devious as her, how can three lawyers just show up out of nowhere and start using two buildings that hasn't been used for years that happens to be owned by one person and was later purchased by another person, this can't be a coincidence, she has a bad feeling about this.

after being lost in her thoughts for a while she finally came up with a solution. she turned to her spy and gave him instructions. she asked for everything about Marcus and the new owner of the building.

on the other side Marcus had his people reporting to him, he knew monica was looking into him this made him happy. he knew the game was on right from when they stepped foot on California, he dismissed his men with a wave of the hand his going to have to wait for the CIRCLE to make their move before he would do anything.

the twins and Marcus were dressed and on their way to the governor's birthday in a rented limousine. Rose was wearing a silver Dior dress with a long slit at the side that runs from mid thigh all the way to the floor, with matching sliver heels and a silver bag also. Phillip is wearing a brown unbranded suit with matching shoes, he honestly wasn't dressed to impress. as for Marcus he went all out he was wearing a pink LV ( Louis Vuitton) suit with a black shoe from same brand, he paired it with a black Rolex watch. he was looking like it was his party.

the party was in full blast when they got they, though they were a few hours late, Marcus did it intentionally to get attention.

when they walked in all eyes were on them especially Marcus because of the previous news about him and the governor, people started approaching them talking about business and proposer and other stuffs. Marcus wasn't really feeling comfortable, he hasn't never really felt good around so many people so he left the crowd that went to the balcony to get some fresh air away from the music and the people.

resting on the rail of the balcony looking at the city Marcus couldn't help how he felt he missed the city his friends and everything. but he is back and he is going to help clean this city from this disease that's within.

the city really is the golden state as its called, its known for a lot of things, the golden gate bridge, Disneyland, Hollywood, Coachella, surf culture, the wine country, silicon valley and more. this city is just so amazing it deserves nothing but the best.

the governor should be die by the end of today but Marcus was beginning to wonder if he should intervene. the man did deserve what was coming to him but should he really let it happen??

a sudden movement break his train of thought, and when he turned he saw a slender figure in a white suit making her way to him. he was irritated just looking at her but he was so good at keeping his emotions on check that you can never get a reaction out of him. he has been waiting for her to approach him, his every move was carefully calculated and this was one he has predicted.

before going to marcus she has been observing him since he arrived at the party, the way he carried himself and how he talked she knew he wasn't an ordinary guy. as she made her way to him she was searching for any emotion on his face to give him away, but his express was blank infant he looked bored
