Monica was really furious when she got back to the office, so furious she decided to call it a day and go home to rest.

that stupid girl was given specific questions to ask, what made her change the questions? did someone ask her to do it? if it was done by someone then who? all this were questions invading her mind. she finally decided to let it go as she decided to rest. she sent out a text to the CIRCLE members it was time they meet and choose a candidate. the earlier the better she thought.

she locked herself up in her office and told the help not to let anyone in, she wanted her alone time, she needed to think.

who the hell told you, you could ask those useless questions Mabel? were you trying to make her look bad or did somebody pay you to do it? Ariel questioned Mabel the lady that interviewed Monica earlier.

" am sorry " nobody asked me to do anything Mabel replied timidly. i just wanted to boost up our ratings and increase our viewers, you already know they love her a lot and those questions i asked her were the most asked questions on the comment section, I just wanted to give the viewers what they wanted. please don't fire me, she instantly went down on her kneels, I did it for the company please. her tears started flowing uncontrollably.

Ariel was frustrated, she didn't want to offend Monica and it really does seem like the girl didn't do it on purpose. i mean who would dare throw that kind of stunt on purpose, especially against Monica. she sighed, that person most have a death wish.

its okay Mabel. stand up, i won't fire you but from now on only do as you are told okay? she gave her a stern warning. i don't want something like this to ever happen again. i know you did it for the company but still don't do something so reckless next time. oy ask questions that you are given or else you would be able to work in this city anymore.

do you understand me Mabel? Ariel was more frustrated than angry at least nothing went out of hand. Monica was able to handle the questions without showing any emotion. " yes ma" i promise it won't happen again.

after leaving Ariel's office Mabel went straight to the bathroom, after checking to see if anyone was inside and confirming that she was alone she quickly brought out her phone to make a phone call.

after three rings the person on the other side finally picked up. "hello" Mabel was the first to speak, " yes " came the voice from the other side, "is it done?" he asked her. " yes " i did exactly what you asked i almost got fired for it today. Mabel was really upset, she thought it was a simple job but she almost her job because of it. "don't worry too much dear" the man on the other side tried to smoothen her, you will get your pay in five days. you are being watched right now so don't contact me anymore with that he ended the call.

somewhere in California Marcus was getting lunch when be received a text about the interview. he was happy about it and the reaction it got out of Monica, he wanted her to start feeling uncomfortable and they were slowly getting they.

his mind drifted back to his date that he will be having later in the evening. he has never really been a ladies guy and has only ever been involved with one lady in his entire life as the idea of love seems like an alien to him. but he is willing to play the lover boy just to get things done.

Ariel made things easier than he had thought they will be for him, for once he was grateful for his looks and body. she couldn't take her eyes off him and she was the one that even offered to take him out on a date and show him the city. she was literally flirting with a stranger and he found it amusing. still he went with the flow since that was the main reason for going to the gym.

he kind of felt bad for what he was about to do to her though, in the CIRCLE they were only four people that was involved in project G.C and the death of his mother as at that time. the remaining two were new to this, that includes Ariel but they were still in this together and she wasn't so innocent. he believes she definitely had a hand in the recent events and murders so she is as guilty as all of them. so the sympathy he felt quickly disappeared.

Ariel's POV *******

after Mabel left my office i took my time to go true the schedules for the week, most event that we will be covering will be aired life so we can't afford any other mistakes for now.

I had Mabel followed and watched for now though i think it was a honest mistake i still had to made sure.

glancing at my wall clock i saw that it was 4:30 p.m already, i had a date by 7p.m so i have to rap up now. I still can't believe he is going on a date with me i mean i know i kinda asked and pushed it but still the guy is just so damn hot.

I first saw him at the governor's birthday party and believed me he stood out in the crowd, but i couldn't talk to him. I did my research and found out that he is a successful lawyer and businessman and to add icing to the cake he is a millionaire and he has never lost a case I mean come on for god sake the dude is obviously out of my league.

even though i knew he was way out of my league i still wanted him.

I knew he was destined to be mine when i saw him in the gym i normally work out in. I mean of all he gym in the city it had to be that same gym and you think its not destiny?

immediately i walked in and saw him it was like time stopped and it was just the two of us in the world, every other thing disappeared. the way he was lifting the weight so effortlessly like he was built for this. as if that was not enough this dude stood up and removed his shirt.

fucking hell, somebody please pinch me i could not believe what i was seeing, he had the body of a Greek god.. those abs, those muscles. damn, he most have been working out a lot to get a body like that i mean Thor and Captain America got nothing on this dude.

his tall well built, i can tell without touching that his body will definitely be hard, i can't help it am openly staring with a open mouth what do i do i need to think fast. am embarrassing myself but i can't seem to take my eyes off him. immediately i saw him all my courage and confidence went flying out the window.

I was still brain storming and trying to figure out what to do when someone bumped into me.
