john received a call from Marcus and his now fully updated on what's going on. though this has been their plan and the CCTV footage as also been secured now all they have to do is to catch the waiter that put the poison in the drink go through his call records, text and emails. even his bank accounts and then they will be able to catch the corporate.

he couldn't take any of the credit, all this was all Marcus the twins doesn't even know half of his plan and it isn't time for them to come to play yet. they already know who the corporate is all they need is enough evidence.

john called up Phillip since he wasn't home and asked him to be home in the next fourth minutes as its time for them to have their first official meeting since they have a case at hand.

rose was home, locked up in her room. am guessing what happened today most have triggered a few memories for her.

I asked one of the help to call her, call me a freak but i have always had this feeling that Rose couldn't be trusted completed especially because of this mother daughter relationship she has going on with judge Monica.

and i believe her own twin and Marcus feel the same way cause they are keeping her involvement away from her.

Rose came in few minutes later i updated her on what's up and we were now waiting for Marcus and Phillip to arrive.

Marcus arrived just in time, he is never late. Phillip arrives few minutes later. " are we all ready?" Marcus asked with a serious expression, we can't turn back once we start now. the room was silent. he took that as a yes and led them to his personal office in the house.

we have gotten our first case as a team and i will like to give u a brief as each one will be given an assignment. first of all we need to know our enemy but for some reason am not going to disclose that yet.

they call themselves "THE CIRCLE". they are responsible for everything that happens in the city they are in charge and they killed the governor due to disagreement.

" any question? " Marcus asked eyeing his team mates, he wants to know what's on their minds. "i have a question though" Phillip was the first to speak. i know we have all received information about the circle and their involvement we are already aware of that so i clearly don't understand why you are repeating it, but what kind of disagreement would make them kill one of their own?

good question Phillip, Marcus patted him on the shoulder he walked back to his desk sat down and poured himself a some whiskey. "well ?" rose was the next to ask. after taking a long sip Marcus focused his gaze on Rose and slowly started walking towards her.

you are a lawyer right rose? he asked not taking his eyes off her. her cheeks instantly turned bright red, she tried to cover it by coughing. yes i am she nodded and a pretty good one at that. so you tell me why would they kill one of their own that has so much power just because of an argument?? the room was quiet for a while and this silent was beginning to annoy john.

they were lawyers for crying out loud and a good one at that they should have done their own investigation by now not that it will be productive because they don't have good resources.

for them to have to kill one of their own because of a disagreement instead of ironing things out means that it has to be something that would affect them greatly if it wasn't resolved on time. Phillip finally managed to catch on. i just couldn't sit still anymore i had to tell them.

its about a project, one that needs the signature of the governor and if he should officially refuse it will take THE CIRCLE years again to be able to bring it up and they couldn't have that i finally decided to give them a brief talk about it. but i won't be naming what project it is you will have to figure that out yourselves.

okay, Marcus claps his hands we already have our first target his name is Mr jerry Collins. "isn't he the one in charge of the food market??" rose asked. yes he is john answered and his also an asshole. how do you know his in charge of the food market?? Phillip asked this time around. well he introduced himself to me during the party. rose said eyeing her brother.

his our prime suspect Marcus decided to ease the tension between the siblings who knew brothers could be this protective. but he isn't the one that makes decisions however we will be having our first hearing soon. and we will be bringing two members from The Circle down not just one.

on a normal day i would be ending this case on just one hearing but this isn't a normal day so we will have to drag it, stall for time so that no one knows that we have what we need and pluck the feathers from the eagle one by one.

he handed them each an envelope this is your assignment, i expect results by weekend. you may all leave except for you Phillip i would like to have a word.

after everyone left Phillip and Marcus went through the plans together, the goal was to make sure rose stays hidden in the dark for as long as possible. so they were unable to do certain things with rose around and Phillip had to pretend he didn't know what was going on whenever rose was around.

after going through the plan Phillip asked when the autopsy result will be out. Marcus brushed it off saying it will be out in a few days.

Phillip's job was to track down were the poison was purchased from once the result was out, he would try and get the receipt and CCTV footage. while rose's job was to tap the waiter's phone and get all the necessary information. john's job was the most complicated but due to the resources offered to him it should be a piece of cake, his job is to track down the waiter before he gets killed and hide him till the court date.

non of them knew the task that was given to the next Marcus made sure of it. this way nobody knows too much. he already has the CCTV footage from the event that shows the waiter adding something to the governor's drink. the CCTV footage he had was from all four angles so you can clearly see the man's face when he was adding it to the governor's drink and you can see him leaving after serving in the footage at the entrance.

after Phillip left Marcus turned on his speaker and started jamming one of his favorite song from his play list. he poured himself another glass of whiskey, and sat down at his window looking at the city.

he took deep breaths his next move will require him to be social but he had too its all for the course. he looked at the photo of his next target in his hand. he was so going to enjoy this.
