Jason whispered behind her, "There's a lot of them, oh, there's my mom!" He said, Damilola looked at him, and his face was so close to hers face that he distracted her a little, she turned back and spotted a lady in a brown dress, walking beside a tall Asian man. "And my dad" he added.
"Jason!" She called the moment she sighted them, Dami wasn't ready for this, but he smiled most and loved the fact he was happy. Jason didn't seem to go slow.
"Mom!" He walked closer to them, leaving her with Brenda.
"You know," Brenda spoke, Damilola looked at her and she had a faint smile on. "You don't look so comfortable," she said.
Dami managed a laugh, "Oh, it's because I didn't think he would introduce me to his family" Brenda nodded.
"The same here, Jason doesn't bring his girlfriends for family occasions, I was surprised when you walked in with him," She said, Dami looked at him, and he smiled just so much. "He looks happy, and I am glad cause you to seem different, from your dress I can tell he didn't get it for you, he must be proud to have you" she ended.
Damilola looked confused and couldn't tell if Brenda was insulting her or if she was actually been proud, she had a smile as she spoke about her dress in a lowly manner. In other words, she was trying to say her dress didn't reach Jason's rich standard but she didn't mind her and decided to take this a positive way. She returned with a smile.
"Mom?" Jason walked toward her bad wrapped his hands around her waist, "This is Dami," he said, Dami managed a smile, why hadn't completed her name?
"You're Korean?" she asked immediately.
"Oh! No, she's African, Nigeria to be precise, Damilola Adesina, this is my mom, Mrs Lee," he introduced.
"African? Oh my, that's so beautiful! I really admire your skin colour!" She said, but Mr Lee didn't look so pleased.
"Pa?" Jason whispered.
"Oh, Dami? You have a Korean name already, you are welcome to our home, Dami what do you do?" He asked, Dami smiled.
"Oh, why ask her that!" Brenda asked at the same time, Mrs Lee.
"It's fine, I am a baker," she urged to say, she was a writer but couldn't at least not now. "Dami's bakery," she bragged.
Dami's bakery was popular in Singapore, there was no way they wouldn't know it, she stared at them waiting for a reaction.
"Dami's?" Mr Lee looked at his wife, and she stared at her confused, Dami's face fell. "What's that?" He asked.
"Oh, it's my work, I own a small bakery," she swallowed, clicking beside Jason.
Suddenly, Brenda clapped and turned to Mrs Lee, "Dami's bakery!" She yelled, and Mrs Lee looked at her, Dami's pride lit her face.
"You? The owner of Dami's bakery?" Mrs Lee asked, Damilola smiled and looked at Mr Lee. He liked quite impressed, who wouldn't know Dami's bakery anyway? She thought.
"Yes, I do!"
"Could you teach us, my sister and I would love to earn" they stated? Jason pulled her closer to his body, with a laugh.
"I'm sorry, maybe next time, we have to go," Jason said, and immediately turned around about to leave.
"Thank you for coming!" Brenda said, Dami looked back and managed to wave.
Jason locked his hands with hers and they both work through the crowd heading for the door. Damilola lower her head and loved the warmness of his hand as they both left the hall and the breeze blew against her face. Jason didn't stop and walked towards the fountain a coloured one it was so beautiful with the colours around it and she couldn't take her eyes off it but it was so sad when he took her past it and worked towards a garden with a beautiful blue large pool.
"Where are we going?" She asked.
"Here, so we could be alone?" He looked back at her and Dami smiled at him, while her cheeks flushed.
Finally, he stopped and twisted, and pulled her slightly closer to his body. Jason's head rested on her forehead and instantly Dami bit her lower lips, the moment she felt his hands around her waist, she loved it when he did so, this made her lips widen with a blissful smile that brightened Jason's heart. She craned and hands off his chest.
"This is really quiet" Jason smiled, and took her chin, kissing her lips. Dami ran her hand from his chest to the back of his neck.
"I should have introduced you to my brother, but he isn't in town" he stated, Dami rolled her eyes, but her heart gladdened.
"It's fine, maybe some other time?" She asked.
"You know, you can take your time if you don't want me to meet your family, but I just want you to know I am serious about us" He stated.
She smiled and stare into his eyes the boat locked eyes with each other she could not hide her smile anymore or her blushes. She ran her hand into his fluffy hair and down to his neck impressed by his words she loved how he thought about her every moment even after doing what he liked, she rolled her eyes.
Dami gasped as his hands brushed her a*s. Her body froze wanting more of his touch. He took her bottom lips, pulling on them, while his tongue searched for hers, the kiss was demanding, his hands held the back of her head firmly and suddenly she felt like a child in his arms.
After minutes, Dami broke the kiss, breathing against his lips, her eyes still glued on those sexy, red and wet lips.
"What?" With a smile, a beautiful sexy smile, Dami looked at the floor, breathing like she had run a marathon. She stared at him, and smiled lewdly, "What is it, Dami?" Jason asked. She continued staring at him, smiling embarrassedly.
"Don't you think I should go home?" She asked. Jason's quickly checked his wristwatch, the time was past 9 pm.
"Yeah, I should... I guess" he said, with a faint smile. She held in her hands her bag, and quickly placed her phone in her bag.
"I should..." Dami smiled at him, and let go of his hand, Jason stared confused. Didn't she want to be with him? He thought, she blushed at his startled gaze.
Jason took her as they both approached the parking lot, hand in hand she look so happy and swung her hand by her side with the other locked in his. Soon they arrived at a 2021 rolls Royce ghost, Dami slowed down, and side-glanced at him.
The cars in the parking lot were either, a Rolls Royce phantom, ghost, a Mercedes Benz or a limousine. She glanced around for a normal, Toyota Camry or Kia, but none.
"Which one is yours?" She asked, looking at him.
"Mr Lee?" A deep voice called, Jason looked at him.
"Oh, Marcus" he breathed, Dami's eyes followed his, to a tall white man, he didn't look Asian but smiled brightly at him.
"Are you leaving now?" He asked, Jason, looked at her.
"Oh, yes, I would be driving" he stretched his hands towards it, but Marcus looked at his hands confused. "Keys"
"Oh, here you go!" He took it out, Dami looked at him, and the car beeped.
"I hope you like it," he asked, Dami rolled her eyes, smiling.
"It's beautiful," she replied, it was indeed beautiful and glowed black, even so smooth.
He open the car door for her and Dami entered, waiting for him and watching him move to the other side. Finally, he got into the car.
The ride to her house took quite a long time and finally, they arrived at Jason's part of the parking lot I looked at her, have written what was shallow and even.
"What's wrong?" he asked.
But Dami shook her head replying with a, "Nothing"
"You would like to come in?" She asked, staring at her thighs.
"What?" Jason asked, she raised her gaze to him.
"I said, would you like to come inside?" She asked.
"You sure about that?" He questioned, smiling deviously.
"Yeah... No one is home" she said lowly, playing with her fingers.
"Dami..." He called.
"It's fine-" she interrupted.
"Yes, I would" he responded either. Gladdened by his response, she smiled.
They arrived at the apartment and Damilola the door, she walked in first and looked around. Dami turned on the lights, and looked back at Jason, he seemed to be taking a tour. So she looked for peach instead and was nowhere to be found so she called for him.
Bark!
"Hey!" She opened her arm for him, and Jason followed behind her.
