Temporary boyfriend

Chapter 5

FAHIMA

Fahima was in her office going through some documents when suddenly her phone bipped a sound she saw her moms name on the screen her heart skipped because she knew her mom won't let her be in that house she will be questioning her about her boyfriend.

"hello mom have you arrived?"

"Oh yes we are here at your house? "

"mom wait I will be there within some minutes the key is with me"

"don't worry we will wait, and I saw a very handsome guy here his apartment is close to yours"

"mom I will be there in a jiff"

She sighed...  Oh mom

I arrive home and saw mom and dad, I hug them they were so happy to see me and I was also happy.

"Mom, Dad you should go inside and freshen up I will go make some food"

"Alright my girl" her mom added

I quickly make some noodles with egg omelette and serve it in the dinning Area, we all eat peacefully, when I was little I was taught not to speak while eating and that made me get use to it, my parents don't talk while eating until we're through then we can say what so ever we want to.

We were done eating finally I knew my mom will start her questioning my Dad doesn't talk much I inherit some of his characters.

"Fahima let's talk.....

"Oh Mom lets me on the TV there's an interesting drama that aired every Friday I know you people will like it" I said that in order to change the topic but in vain my mom is smart.

"sweetheart your daughter has on the TV for us you should go and watch I will catch up later I have some words to say with her"

"Fahima since we are here when will you introduce us to your boyfriend I will like to see him we need to know the kind of person he is"

"Mmmom I.. I.. i don't know his busy these days with work and as you can see am also busy with work at the office"

"no problem there is weekend you can tell him to come on Saturday"

"Mom how many days are you people going to spend here?"

"it depends if we have seen your boyfriend and know who he is and his parents that's all"

"Mom his a boyfriend not someone am going to marry why see his parents again?"

"am your Mom and every mother wants to see her daughter settle with her own family"

"Mom you and Dad are my family, my precious parents"

"stop pretending As if you don't know which kind of family am talking about you are matured enough for goodness sake my good girl you need a man to take care of you, someone by your side, I want to have my grandchildren to hold them in my hands, you know one thing time is precious to us we need to use it wisely don't waste it, because time waits for no one, am not forcing you to get married but you need to give what I told you some taught okay?"

"Alright Mom I will call him so that he will come on Saturday"

"that's my girl"

I went to my room to refresh my mind I took a deep breath and dialed Ablah's number, I told her everthing I told her am in trouble guess what she laughed at my statement and said I shouldn't have lied to them I should have told them the truth, but since I lied I have to beg Rizwan to be my temporary boyfriend for just 1 week after my parents are gone then later I can told them he broke up with me for some reason then things will end smoothly, I was happy about her idea but still I need to tell Naila too so that I can know her own side of thinking to see if it the right thing to do, am a shy person I dont even know how to talk to Rizwan I don't know if I can do this, my secretary called me and said there's is some little files need to be settled so I told my parents I will be back I was won't take long

I came out about to open my car when I saw a guy nocking at Rizwan apartment so I went there o greeted him and ask him, he said his name is Akhtar he's Rizwan's friend I told him he might be at the office he should call him, I waited for him to reach him first before I go but no answer he kept trying but he didn't pick up the call the guy was shouting and angry so I brought him a glass of water to cool his mind I told him to keep trying and I left...

I went to my office and clear something up pataining fashion as usual after am done I called naila like 10 times but no respond so I went straight to her house I saw her   watching an interesting movie

"I have been calling you but can't reach you what happened to your phone"

"my phone slip from my hand and fell from the stairs it broke and now it not working"

"so sorry about that"

"no problem I will just buy a new one"

"but you should still take it for repair may be the damage isn't  that serious"

"I will do that, so what do you want to tell the time you couldnt reach me"

"Naila am in trouble I need your advice"

"what happened? "

"my parents wants me to introduce them to my boyfriend this Saturday I don't know why my mouth slipped the name Rizwan what If they get to know that my neighbors name is Rizwan too besides I don't even know any other guy that has the name Rizwan"

"I think you should beg your neighbor to pretend as your boyfriend after your parents are gone then you can tell them you broke up with him for some certain reasons"

"that's what Ablah also told me I will go for what you girls suggest but am scared of ......

"don't be scared it just a matter of 1 week once you are done with him you will find yourself a suitor because it high time you settle for good"

"yes you are right, ahmm I guess I should get going I told my mom I won't take long from the office I don't want her to feel like there is something fishy"
