The Same Forever.

If I can't have you in this lifetime

Then I will wait for you in another.

I think the hardest part about these feelings I have for you is that I can’t tell anyone.

I can write poem after poem, I can keep a running tally of everything you’ve ever said to me that made something in chest squeeze tight around my heart, I can make note of every song that reminds me of you.

But I can’t tell a soul.

I wouldn’t mind so much if that didn’t include you too.

I'm looking for you every corner I turn. I think you'll be there like there's a cosmic connection but I can't say I love you. You made that clear. So where does that leave me?

Yesterday a person asked me what friendship means to me. I replied. "A true honest and selfless friendship is like finding a star that shines and twinkles with another in duet."

I get so depressed around the end of the year because it just means I have another year ahead of me, another year of struggling, feeling miserable, not being able to cope. I don’t want to keep going.
