Chapter Two: going with the flow ( Xander)

Sir you're needed in the throne room God wants you.” my main butler calls.

“Be right there lucias.” I called back.

I always seemed to be called to my dad when he needed things like go get my shoes go get this go get that or come be my right hand man. It's never one of the other angels, it's always me. My brothers and sisters are favored by my father who you call god but never me. I always end up being the one to clean up their mess. Now u might think that im some spoiled brat who likes to complain or be a total terror but i promise you im not like that. I just don't like being my family's personal butler.

I walk to the throne room where my father God sits on his high and mighty throne.

“Yes father?”

“How do u feel about going on a little trip with me to another universe?”

“ I mean that would be awesome dad but why are we going to another universe?”

“ You're going to get married to the high priestess of Olympia.” He says it with so much conviction and delight that I keep my mouth shut and keep my anger inside. I don't want to be stuck with some petty ass kid who thinks she all ‘that’ but the delight on my fathers face is something i can get over ive never seen him so happy about something, i guess ill go with the flow and see wear it takes me i really hope i dont regret this.

I inwardly sigh and say “who am I getting married to and what's her name, her status?” Is there any chance I can get out of this? I inwardly ask myself .

“Wlell that was easy, her name is Aeliana, her status right now is princess to the Olympian throne, mind you she is not of this world she is in another universe and she is the most powerful of her kind she is to become queen within a few days, son i will warn you she is a handful, from what her father tells me she could make Lucifer cry. “

I snicker on the last part. If someone could make Lucifer cry then I'm game.

“When do we leave dad?”

“Now’ “

I stare at him in horror. I have nothing packed. I haven't even had time to take a shower.

“Am I not allowed to take a shower and brush my teeth ?”

“She doesn't like to be kept waiting, son.”

“Why do I get the feeling she doesn't know any of this is happening?” I mumble under my breath.

Just then the side door to the throne room opens and out walks a tall muscular man with a white beard, white hair and gold crown atop his head and clothes that look like an Indian person would wear.

“My lord, are you ready to cross over? I will warn you that my daughter isn't in the best of moods. We decided to have this coronation on the day her mother died sixteen years ago.”

“You would do that to your own daughter? That's sad but you need not worry, my son knows how to cheer people up, isn't that right Xander?”

“Is this the boy marrying my daughter?” the man asks.

“It is, he's going to make a fine groom, don't you think?”

“ A bit scrawny but I think we can toughen him up right boy?”

I nod silently

“Answer me boy” he thunders.

“ Y-Yes s-sir.” I stutter.

“My name is Zeus, my daughters name is Aeliana, you will be marrying her, now here is your warning, she is not approachable, ever since her mother died sixteen years ago she has become cold and distant, she will strike you down with lightning the second she get the chance. I was king of the gods but the last 4 years i let Olympia fall into Ari’s hands, she has shown me that she is ready to take over, but she can't do so without a husband by her side your only job son is to stand by her side support her and don't let her fall ,or Olympia falls with her, your father has told me when you come of age you will be taking over heaven?”

I looked at my dad in shock, I hadn't heard this news, I had always thought seraphiel would take over the throne or Gabriel. My father nodded at me confirming what King Zeus had said. On the inside I'm freaking out. I never thought I would run heaven but my father or king Zeus in this situation decided to drop the bomb on me that i was.

“ Did you hear me boy?” Zeus says, jerking me out of my thoughts.

“I'm sorry , what did you say sir?”

“I said, do you think you're ready to become king of two universes?”

“Y-yes sir i am’ when do i meet your daughter sir?”

“Acually now, the portal should open any second.” as soon as he says the word a purple orb appears and begins to expand forming a rotating circle. My father and Zeus walk through the portal without hesitation while I hang back not wanting to go through worried I might land somewhere I'm not supposed to. My dad poke his head back through the portal looking at me expectantly. The look in his face tells me I need to walk through or severe consequences will be happening. I walk through the portal with a big breath.

The first thing I see when I walk through is the palace with its white creamy walls and golden vines pillars. The structure is majestic, bigger than the palace in heaven. As we walk towards the building I see a woman in a long white robe standing by the cliff side watching the waves. I don't think anything of it until I'm standing in the throne room watching the fury on her face manifest.

“You're forcing me to get married after you told me you wouldn’t , you lied to me dammit, you told me you wouldn’t, now you're forcing me to marry this thing who the hell are you anyway? I look at her sharply when she calls me a thing. The look I give her only makes things worse. The ground begins to shake the steely gaze of her eyes send shivers down my spine i feel fear begin to creep in when the clouds above us begin to gather with lightning building inside .

“ YOU DARE GIVE ME A LOOK WITH DISDAIN IN YOUR EYES YOU INSOLENT THING?! YOU ARE INSIGNIFICANT TO ME YET YOU ARE FORCED TO MARRY ME!” Her voice seems to be everywhere all at once, her eyes glowing a white hue.

“ I never said anything, your highness. I'm just as confused as you are. I gave you a look because you called me a thing. I am not a thing. I am an angel from heaven and if I might say I am not insignificant i never wanted this i am only doing this for my father. You can hate me cut i will not back down to your so called power i- “ a hand clamped down over my mouth as i spoke, i look back to see Aeliana's father looking at me with a warning, i look back at the soon to be queen and realize my words had only fueled her anger . The ground begins to rumble loudly pieces of the ceiling beginning to crumble to the ground. The wind already howling picks up. Just then the doors burst open, a blonde running in looking right at Aeliana. She grabs her shoulders forcing her to look at her. When the blonde touches her everything around her stills the room deathly silent.
