Sebastian's POV: I didn't know how long I had stood in the snow. Before I lost consciousness, the last thing I saw was Louisa drawing the curtains shut. When I woke again, my nose was filled with the herbal scent of the Pack Hospital. The old silver wound at my side ached dully, and an IV line ran into the back of my hand. I turned my head and saw Louisa standing by the window, confirming my cross‑border identity for the hospital. For a moment, I almost thought I had returned to the past.
