I sat beside Leigh who was casually resting while sipping with his cold banana milk. I do want to ask where did he get it but he suddenly gave me one like he already got a huge stock beside him. There is a small house here at the rooftop and I think this is where the elites were gathering every time.

“How did you become one of them?” I asked, I know I am acting like I was investigating something but I cannot help it, especially when Brett told me some things that I was so eager to know to.

“Did you think that I do have any other choice?” he sarcastically answered me once again. He is right, he came from a distinct family here in this place and he got no other choice but to play with the kids that has the same reputation as his.

“You might be right, but you could also have any other choice. Have your own decision or something.” I uttered, and that was when I heard him softly chuckles.

“You just came here and stayed for two days and yet you are giving me some advice.” He said as I looked on hm, seriously.

“I am not, I do not care any of that, at all.” I answered and he stared back at me.

“Is that so? Then, why are you flirting with Luke?” he asked.

“I am not. He plainly asked me out, and I just plainly answered him back.” I answered.

“You are such a player.” He commented.

“What if I also ask you out? Would you answer me back?” he asked as he stood up as nimble as he can.

“You are spouting nonsense.” I said and he burst out laughing, the first positive expression I saw on his face.

“I am just joking. You do not have to be that serious.” He went back on being cold once again and stride away without looking back.

I let out a deep sigh, as l began knowing each of them, I could also see the huge differences on their personalities. I know that I needed a friend in this place aside from my twin, but I did not expect that I would getting these jerks instead.

I stood up as I dust myself up, I can now see the sky becoming much brighter than the early morning and I am also feeling my stomach rumbling in hunger.

“Here you are.” Why do people always show up without any warnings at all? I looked up to look on that person and I saw a woman with a pure kind smile looking back on me.

“Who are you?” I asked to her.

“You do not have to react that way. I am Kaira and I heard that the Kings entered the campus. I do want to be your friend.” She answered to me, as I smiled.

“Are you one of the elites too? Hearing how you call my name, you might be one of those families that I met.” I answered and she lightly nodded.

“I am Leigh’s sister. Shall I have the honor to show you around?” she asked as I nodded.

“Then, I would gladly accept your offer, Kaira.” I answered as we went down from the rooftop.

When I was with Asley and Brett a while ago, the girls were all looking at me like they were all prepared to s***h my throat or something. Now that I am with Kaira, they were all looking on me like I am the most wanted con artist in this land. I know those kinds of stares and that was called envy. I let out a deep sigh whenever I noticed someone was looking on us like that.

“Do not be bothered at all. You should now start being used to it, you are now an elite and you must act like one.” I heard her said those words to me.

“How to act like an elite? That is something that I did not study back in the city.” I answered and she laughs.

“Act like you are one of them, but also act like you are above them.” she firmly said to me.

“And how can I do that?” I asked with deep curiosity.

“Just go with the flow.” She answered and gave me again with that kind smile.

“And what kind of flow are you talking about?” I carefully asked to her.

“Kaira!” I heard another person called out.

“Ashford.” She answered.

“And you are already with Lisanna.” He added when his eyes laid on me.

“Yeah, are you sad that I was with her? Should I leave?” I asked and trying to get the mood I am seeing right now.

“No, not at all. Kaira must have gotten an instruction to show you around. I must not meddle to the two of you.” He answered and smiled. I looked on Kaira, like I was asking her if that offer of her was just out of responsibility and not her own kindness.

“She is the student council president, she is the one doing it.” Ashford added and I slowly nodded.

“Ah, why did I not think of that?” I mumbled to myself.

“The others were already gathered at the hall of arcade, the two of you must go there when you are done.” He finally said before he made his final leave.

“Sorry for that.” she said to me.

“Well, I did not expect that you would be the president, knowing that Asley is a sly one.” I said and she laughed.

“We were actually rivals, but I won in the end.” She answered.

“He must have taken it in his heart and became petty all of a sudden.” I said and her eyes widened.

“You are right! He did not talk to me for a month after the elections.” She exclaimed as my eyes became widened too.

“See? I knew it! He is that petty!” I exclaimed and both of us laughed out loud.

“You are fun, Lisanna.” She said in between of her laughs.

“And you are kind, Kaira.” I added and smiled. She might be smiling to her both ears, widely and looking kind- but I cannot leave out the fact that Leigh and her do have that mysterious aura around them.

After an hour, the little school tour ended and we quickly entered a building separated from the main building of the campus. We walked through the path of flower garden until we reached that huge villa from a distance. I noticed a little brook flowing nearby, as I looked on it, the water looks clear and clean.

We entered as I saw a huge gaming area again, it might not be as huge as the arcade one I went yesterday but I can certainly say that this place is much calmer and relaxing. There is still a gaming area inside this house but it was only seen in one portion of the floor. I do not have the time to take a stroll inside as I felt that someone already pulled me towards a direction and when I looked at the person holding my hand at the other end, I saw Luke was holding me and smiling from ear to ear.

I do not know what that means but I know for sure that my hand hurts and I wanted to remove his hand on mine. I continued following him until I finally saw where we are going, there was everyone- doing things that they wanted. I saw Ashford and Leigh were playing play station on the couch while eating chips and mostly yelling on each other. Luke was still beside me and not letting me get away from him, and I finally saw Asley who was silently sitting at the corner and plainly staring at me. I will be lying if I say that I am not being conscious on how he looked at me, I do not know if that was because I won against him in an art challenge and he now wanted to ask me for another round, or he just literally wanted to kill me in the end- but I will be hoping that I would still be breathing after some time.

“Why is she here?” I felt all the coldness coming from his words that I stood blankly in front of him.

“What? She is my girlfriend.” Luke answered as I heard Asley scoffed.

“She is not, you should better stop all that act.” Asley said and stood from off his seat, was about to leave when Luke said something that I did not expect.

“I am not acting, what are you talking about?” he answered and our whole world stopped as it stay still.

“What?” Asley exclaimed in disbelief.

“I do like her, and if you cannot accept her in this group, then, let it be.” Luke firmly said as I felt everyone looked towards our direction. He is not asking for anyone’s approval, even me who is the exact person involved in this thing called ‘relationship’, he did not even say anything to me.

“Are you serious about her?” Asley once again asked as Luke smirked.

“Yeah, why would I not be?” he confidently answered and put his arm around my shoulder.

“What about her?” Brett asked and they finally looked on me.

“Do you like him?” Brett added and now they were all looking on me and waiting for my answer.

“A-Ah, what do you want to hear from me?” I awkwardly asked.

“Your side, your answer.” Asley said as a moment of silence held the second, I took my breath in and not say any word.

“I do not see any reason—” I did not even get the chance to continue my words as Luke stopped me.

“See? She did not even have any violent reactions with it, so be it.” Luke plainly said he finally left me alone in the middle of these all-cold stares.

“You really got yourself in a huge mess.” Brett finally said to me before each one of them moves away and go their own way.

I hate it here, I should let them my family go here without coming with them. I should have stay with Axel even is he is a one and a half jerk, maybe I could still my lovely time teasing him and his new girl.

“You can just tell him to stop, unless you would not be able to say any of those direct words, he would never leave your side.” I heard someone talked to me and it was Kaira.

“What?” I asked to her.

“Luke, I say. He is the type of a guy who gets what he wants, it could be a thing, or it could a person. But he is not a bully, you just have to say that you do not want any of it.” she explained as I slowly nodded my head and smiled.

“I just thought about it, Luke is not bad after all. Maybe I could still play for this act until I finally see myself being in a bad situation than this.” I explained and she nodded.

“But remember, playing hearts would never be a fun game.” She said to me and those eyes laying on me, I could feel that she is very worried about me. I wonder is she also had experienced any of this. But I guess, she would never. She is a beautiful and kind woman, and above that, she is a student council president, born in a respective family who have a brother that can kill you with only his gazes- that was a huge impossibility.

“I know that, but have you ever got played with?” I answered and she stared on me for a few seconds before she answered.

“No, I have not yet.” She answered with a smile, I also flashed a little smile on her and stepped towards her.

“Well, I have. And it will not hurt any a little if I try playing, right?” I confidently answered with a smirked.
