The Aqua University

(Lisanna) I do not know what in the hell am I doing here inside Asley’s car but I do certainly wanted to be out as soon as I can. I see my sister getting all hyped up with these boys whom I just met just a day after we arrived here in the place. I let out a deep sigh as I leaned my back on the seat, waiting for us to arrive at the campus. I know that they were all going to the campus judging on how they looked physically. “We are now here.” I heard Asley said as I automatically looked outside through the window. “Whoa, is that really a campus seen in a countryside?” Risa exclaimed as I also cannot help but to be awed on how the university looked like. “Yeah, welcome to Aqua University, the school of the elite.” Luke answered as I stared on it for a moment until we finally arrived in front of the entrance. Someone from the school opened the car door for us as Asley quickly get out casually. He was followed by Luke, Brett, Lyx, Ashford and lastly, the two of us. I looked around as I noticed that Leigh is not here. I just simply ignored that fact and followed all of them without uttering any word. I became busy looking around the whole campus, the moment I entered from the wide and huge door at the entrance, there was a huge circle seen in the middle of the building. I looks like I was in an outdoor place, but I was indoors. “Is this your first time seeing a school?” Lyx sarcastically said to me as I scoffed in disbelief. “Shut up, I was just surprised how it looked different from my own expectations.” I answered and brushed him off away from me. “That is not the way to the admissions.” I heard him say as I abruptly stopped and looked back. “What?” he asked to me. “I just wanted to see what was in here.” I answered and rolled my eyes. “Stop showing off, when you really do not know anything.” I heard Asley said to me. “I do not need your help, at all.” I firmly said to him and walked away. I was all alone roaming around the place. I could already feel those stares directed towards me, like they were all giving me confirmations that I was indeed a stranger walking on their own land. I do get it, but a feint laugh would always get out from my lips whenever I remembered how they reacted when I told them my surname. “You are Lisanna, right?” I stopped walking when I heard someone talked to me behind my back. I looked back as I saw a woman standing in the middle of the hallway and smiling widely at me. “Uhh, yeah. Can I ask how you knew that?” I answered as she slowly moved towards me. “Aquadale is a small place, dear. Most of the people in here came from this university.” She answered as I slowly nodded at her, and awkwardly smiled on the side. “Really? Then, nice meeting you.” I answered as I was about to leave when she said another word to me. “How was your mother? It has been a long time since I have not yet seen her.” She added. I saw myself and my sister sitting on a chair given for us in this huge office of her. I look at Risa and she was all smiles and being excited what would happen next. But for me, I find it very suspicious that everyone knows our family when we all do not have any idea of who could they be. “Mirana really did a great decision of putting the two of you here in this campus. This is where you both really belong.” She said as she sat on her swivel chair and laid two folders on the table. “This is your schedules, I know where you came from, so, you two would be joining the other kids with the same status of yours.” She added. I looked on the folder that she gave to us and quickly grabbed one. I already know what that means, and I also know whose kids she was referring to. I let out a deep sigh the moment I confirmed my own thinking and closed the folder. “Then, are we starting the class today?” I asked to her and she smiled, once again. “Of course, not. Elites do have their own pacing and if you really wanted to do all the study stuff, you can approach your professors and get the materials.” She explained as I smirked. “Does that mean that we do not have to study at all?” Risa exclaimed as I shook my head in disbelief. “Risanna, you are embarrassing me.” I whispered to her and tried my best to stop her. “What? She told me that we do have our own pacing.” She defended herself. “You are right, but remember that you cannot graduate without passing all of your subjects.” This woman added once again. “I hate that part you have said.” Risanna answered back. “You probably do not know me but I am Claire, the headmistress of this campus and Brett’s mother.” She finally introduces herself as I stared on her in surprised. “Brett? Then, are you, our neighbor?” I exclaimed and she laughs. “Yeah, I heard your conversations outside the house. I guess you already know the whole circle.” She said as I awkwardly chuckles, this is too out of place. She must have heard that Luke came in the house just to wait for me. “That is right, I was already acquainted with them.” I plainly answered as I stood up just to end the conversation. “Luke is the Casanova, be careful.” She finally said to me as I smirked and chuckled in disbelief. “Do not ever worry, I do not take him seriously at the same time.” I answered and went out from the room. “Whoa, that was cold.” I was surprised the moment I get out off the room. I saw Asley standing by the door and leaning his back on the wall, he looks like he was eavesdropping from the outside. “What do you want me to say?” I answered at him as we started walking in the middle of the hallway. If I did feel those questionable stares at me by the other students I met in the hallway a while ago, now, I feel stares that could kill me on the spot. I got the idea of what could be the real reason behind those stares, and when I looked on Asley, he was plainly walking and talking to me like nothing. “Are you some kind of a heartthrob or something?” I asked without listening to his words. “What?” he asked in confusion and finally looked around. “Ah, that was because I am the leader of the elites. No one could ever walk with me side by side.” He answered like he already got the situation we are currently in. “And there here is me, walking and talking to you like nothing. They might already have killed me through their minds.” I exclaimed and chuckles. “They cannot, the moment they will hear which family you came from.” He confidently answered. “Can I not tell them my name?” I asked and he abruptly stopped walking. “That was inevitable, because you are a King.” He answered as my eyes widened in shocked. He did not only answered my words, but he also announced to everybody that I am a King. “Shut the hell up!” I exclaimed as I looked around, it was already late as the students were already murmuring upon hearing that. “Oh, my bad. I guess they already knew your name.” he said as he began walking away from me. I quickly covered my face and was about to leave the scene when I heard someone called my name in a very loud manner. “Lisanna King! How was your talk with my mom?” I already know who that freaking guy was, and I plainly glared on him when he casually put his arm on my shoulder. “Get away from me.” I firmly said each word that his smiles faded and he slowly moved away from me. “Is there something wrong?” he carefully asked as I let out a deep sigh. “Ask your great leader what happened.” I said as I walked away. I wanted to have my own leisure time going around the campus so I did what I wanted to. I have already seen what was inside the folder and it was all nonsensical rules given based in social status. The subjects were the same as a normal school but there is no schedule at all, instead, numbers and emails of professors were given like they were asking us to call them personally and pay them individually. I reached the rooftop and just like any other rooftops I have seen, the view from here was more breathtaking that looking down on city lights and tall buildings. In here, you can see tall mountains, and you can look down on wide plains and forests seen in a countryside. I cannot say that our move was nothing but a waste of time, I suddenly starting to like the vibe of this place but certainly not the people in my age. “You are too unpredictable.” I was surprised hearing a voice, again, behind me and when I looked back, I saw Leigh sitting on the ground while leaning his back at the wall. He was facing me and he was being lightened up by the sparkling sun, his cold face says it all- he is a good-looking man. “What?” I plainly answered and he scoffed, then get back on having an unfazed facial expression. “You smiled and them suddenly became irritated, are you that moody one?” he explained as I laughs and stood firm in front of him. “Why are you here all alone?” I changed the topic and asked that instead. “They were all noisy, are they not?” he answered to me like it was his own way of answering me what is the reason of him being alone. “And you? Are you not as noisy as them?” I asked and he slowly shook his head. “Can you not tell just by looking at me?” he sarcastically asked back on m, as I burst out laughing. “I guess I have not yet introduced myself to you. I am Lisanna.” I said and extended my hand towards him. “I am Leigh, someone you could always see resting at rooftops.” He answered and accepted my hand at the same time.
