Ugh! That is such an another level of arrogance and stubbornness! I entered the house with a bit of irritation to the extent that I did not have any time to look around the whole house. But that could not be the entire situation right now, I entered my new room and I could not help but to gasp in huge amusement. I did not know that this house was so huge and looked so antique at the same time. My focus and attention have now been diverted so that I now want to have a little tour on my own.

I went out of the room as I looked at the other room located in that huge hallway. If I did not know that this was my grandfather's house, I would have thought that the owner of this house was the president of the country. Well, bragging is not intended but I think it is a need. I saw the master's bedroom and I know the very reason why dad really does not want to give this place to his other siblings and relatives. I walked out the hallway and towards the living room when I saw Ris entering the back door.

"Where have you been?" I asked to her and she paused, then looked behind her.

"I think that is called backyard, twin." she sarcastically said to me as I scoffed.

"Yeah, the point is, what was in there?" I said and she rolled her eyes.

"Uhh, I think you do have your own eyes to look at it." she said as I sighed.

"Why did I have to be born at the same time as you?" I mumbled as I walked past by her.

I walked out through that back door where she came back as I looked around. It is just a huge lawn of grass and there is a huge parasol for the family to take breaks and chill around. I also noticed that, for the first time, we got a house near to ours, we had a neighbor. I peeked in that direction of the house as I instantly regretted the thing what I had just done.

"Are you stalking me?" I exclaimed to him first before he could say something else.

"Are you crazy?" he answered. I cleared my throat as I stood firmly, crossing my arms.

"Then, what are you doing there? Do not tell me, are you stealing something?" I exclaimed again and he scoffed.

"I live here." he answered as I zipped my lips. I already knew that thing, but I just wanted to say something that would not let myself be humiliated, but I just did, more than what I had expected.

"Brett!" I heard someone call him as I saw a guy walking towards his direction.

"Lyx, what are you doing here?" I heard him answered. I turned my back against them as I just wanted to leave as soon as possible.

"Have you forgotten the promise we made with the other gang?" that other guy named Lyx answered.

"Oh, that game at the arcade? Right, I forgot about that." that arrogant guy answered. And arcade? Is there an arcade in the countryside? That is a bit out of the place, huh?

"Yeah, you better hurry. We might lose the bet." that Lyx said as he started walking away.

"So! Are you betting on something?" I said as he looked at me.

"Are you eavesdropping? Did you not think that it was a bit weird?" he exclaimed to me as I chuckled.

"Of course not. Oh, if you wanted, have me join your gang." I offered as he looked at me, like he was scanning me for a job interview.

"What? Are you not the one being the arrogant?" he asked as I smirked.

"Then I would pay back in case that we lose, but I guarantee you that we will not." I confidently answered and he laughed loudly, he really looked like he was not being convinced at all right now.

"But you still do not know what we are playing." he answered as I chuckles.

"You are playing at the arcade, right?" I asked and he nodded.

"Then bow down to the Queen of Arcade." I said and he scoffed.

It did not take me any minute before I could make him agree on letting me go with them. I am currently with Brett and this Lyx guy who came earlier. He is talking to Brett and somewhat whispering at him, but I am just pretending that I am not seeing them both at all.

"Stop bothering him and just fire the questions at me." I said to him as he quickly stood firm, like he is already under me.

"Are you new here?" he asked as I nodded.

"And your name?" he asked as I paused for a bit.

"You still have not yet said my name?" I looked at Brett in disbelief.

"That is because I do not know yours." he answered, I stared intently as I tried to think if I had already introduced myself or not. Well, I guess not.

"Right. I am Lisanna. I am your new neighbor and nice meeting you." I plainly said as I smiled, awkwardly.

"Well, I am Lyxandre, just call me Lyx. And this is Brett." he answered as I nodded, then he suddenly extended his hand towards me. I stared at it, thinking if I should be shaking his hands. But for the sake of being a new neighbor who needed to establish a good reputation, I shook his hand in return.

"That is the Arcade, the only one in this village." I heard Brett said as I quickly looked in the direction where he was looking. It was a huge building that do have at least five floors, I did not expect a huge building like this in the countryside.

"Whoa, this is huge." I mumbled.

"Of course, it is owned by our friend's family." Lyx answered as I scoffed.

"Are you something elite in this place? You should have said something." I jokingly said to them but they only looked at me.

"You still do not know anything, Lisanna." Brett seriously said to me in which I stopped uttering any words and followed them when I saw them starting to go towards the place.

The three of us entered and it was a huge entertainment hall. The first floor would be the huge arcade, the second floor was the bar area and the next floors would be another arena for some games and sports.

"Bro!" Lyx greeted the other guys as they were having those hand shakes that I had barely seen back in the main city.

"Who is this pretty lady? Did you already get yourself one, Lyx?" a guy said to him.

"Shut up, Ashford. She is not that kind of a girl." Lyx answered.

"Is that so? Then, why is she here?" another guy answered.

"She said she wanted to play too, like a pro." Brett answered as the two started to laugh like they were both mocking me.

"Girls do not play these things, Brett, you know that. You should be holding a Barbie doll." the guy said as he finally looked towards my direction, I smirked.

"Then, are you a Barbie doll?" I answered as I held onto his arm, he quickly shook my hand off and scoffed.

"Do you really think you could beat us here?" he arrogantly exclaimed to me.

"Leigh, shut the hell up." all of them stopped when another man entered the room, and judging from the way they are acting- he is the leader and probably the one who owns this place.

"Bro, the two brought someone that is not in the circle." that Leigh guy said to him, like a baby demanding something from his mother.

"Then let her be, she would not will stop until she tasted the flavor of being a loser." he answered to me plainly as I chuckled.

"Do you want to play a dart with me?" I suggested as all of them looked in my direction.

"Just stay out of our way, lady." he answered to me, as when he was about to leave, I grabbed his arm by his jacket.

"Are you scared of being beaten by a girl?" I was provoking him, and it was a successful one, seeing that he looked at me with huge interest.

"Set it up." he answered as the others started to move. I removed my hand on his arm when I saw him looking at it. He walked towards the place where the dart board was located on the wall.

"Ladies first." he said as I laughed and nodded. I grabbed a dart as I stood in the line in front of the board. I positioned myself on it, checking the distance as well as the direction, then I threw it quickly. All of them laugh when I do get a low score for the first one.

He is next as when he nonchalantly grabbed the dart, stood by the line, and threw it like he already knew the result- it was indeed near the bull's eye. He smirked at me with all of his arrogance. I laughed as it was now already my turn again, I already knew the distance and the strategy, so I threw it, then stared at him. I heard the other gasps and when I looked on the board- it was bull's eye.

"See?" I said and he shook his head.

"The game is not done yet." he answered as he stood by the line once again. We had five darts as the game went by. We kept on throwing those darts until we finally got the final one.

"It is now my turn." I said as I stood. After I hit the bull's eye, he also hit those spots too, so because of the mistake I made in the first round, I needed to throw this bull's eye too.

"Want to bet on this one?" he said before I could even throw mine.

"What do you want?" I asked.

"If I do win, you cannot step on your feet inside of this building anymore." he said as I nodded.

"And if I win, I will be going to this place wherever I wanted." I answered and he chuckled before nodding his head. So, it is now my turn. I let out a deep sigh as I threw it- it was a bull's eye.

"Prepare to leave." he whispered to me, as we changed our positions. He stood by the line and threw it without any warnings, and it landed on five. I chuckled, no, I am laughing out loud because of that.

"Looks like I would be preparing the opposite way." I said and smirked at him.

"Tell me, what is your name." he said as I stared at him.

"I am Lisanna, how about you?" I answered and asked at the same time.

"I am Asley." he answered as I extended my hand for a hand shake, something that he stared at first before he accepted.
