Seeing hundreds of armed men around them, Olivia trembled all over!
She recognized this man! Olivia turned to Jonathan and said, "Jonathan! He's Elijah Roberts, the third most powerful man in the Roberts family! He is the leader of one of the four major gangs with thousands of men in Yonderville! We can't fight him. You need to leave with Ruby soon. I'll handle this alone."
After speaking, Olivia understood many things. She was badly injured and had little chance of survival. Even if she escaped, Michael wouldn't spare her once he was rescued. In short, she was as good as dead.
Olivia endured the tearing pain and, like a mother wolf protecting her cubs, used her soft body to shield Jonathan. She shouted at the black-coat man who had taken off his hat, "Mr. Roberts, it's my fault! It's all my fault! Please let him go. I'm willing to stay and take all the consequences!"
But before Olivia could finish, Jonathan shook his head and pulled her back. How could he let a woman bear all this?
He smiled gently and confidently, brushed Olivia's hair away from her brow, and softly said, "My woman doesn't need to beg anyone. Trust me, I'll take care of it all!"
Suddenly, a painful scream came from behind her.
"Uncle, help me! Help me! I'm dying! I'm dying!" Michael lay in a pool of blood, screaming at Elijah.
Elijah glanced sideways. Seeing his nephew pinned to the ground, he roared in rage, "Damn it! Who are you to hurt someone from the Roberts family?!"
Jonathan smirked, pulling the trembling and pale Olivia behind him. "You all deserve to die!"
"Arrogant!" Elijah shouted, and the hundred men behind him swung their long swords and clubs.
They were like wild horses that were about to break loose, ready to rush in and kill Jonathan and Olivia at any moment.
Elijah gave one last ultimatum, "No one has ever talked to me like this! Today, you have two choices: cripple yourself, or die with this woman!"
Olivia hid behind Jonathan, clutching his sleeve tightly. "Jonathan, run! I don't want to drag you down. Run! Ruby needs you."
Five years had passed, and seeing Jonathan again was enough for her. She didn't want to implicate Jonathan, nor did she want Ruby to lose her father.
But Jonathan didn't respond and only stared coldly at Elijah. "Let her go to the hospital. I'll stay. I'm the one who crippled Michael. I'm your target!"
Elijah's face darkened, but doubt crept into his mind. Jonathan gave him a different feeling, not like an ordinary person but a strong one emanating a powerful aura. How terrifying! If he tried to force his way in to save Michael, Jonathan might kill him first.
Elijah didn't dare to act rashly. He narrowed his eyes and roared angrily, "Fine! As you wish! Let her go!"
The men behind Elijah immediately made way.
But Olivia didn't dare to leave. She clung to Jonathan and cried, "No! I'll stay with you! I don't want to be separated from you! Let's go together!"
She knew Jonathan was doing this to protect her. The hurt he caused her five years ago vanished in that instant.
"Do as I say. Ruby needs you. Just go. My people are waiting for you outside. They'll take you to Ruby. Don't worry about me. I'll be fine. I'll definitely come back for you!" Jonathan held Olivia tightly and whispered in her ear, "If you stay, I'll be distracted."
Then, Jonathan suddenly pushed her away and shouted, "Go! For Ruby!"
Tears streamed down Olivia's face. She ran out, covering her mouth to stifle her sobs. She couldn't look back, fearing to see something she didn't want to see. He might die if he stays alone!
Olivia ran under the dismal moonlight, and the broken lights and moonlight behind her stretched her shadow so long. Behind her, hundreds of thugs were already surrounding Jonathan. Yet Jonathan stood his ground, showing no fear but a fierce determination to kill.
Meanwhile, as Olivia ran, a medical vehicle arranged by Jonathan sped up. Several members of the Thunderbolt Squad jumped out. "Mrs. Parker, please get in! We're here to take you to your daughter. She needs you! And your leg needs treatment too."
Looking at the strangers before her, Olivia remembered Jonathan's words and asked anxiously, "Are you Jonathan's friends? Please save him! He's surrounded by the Roberts family's men! Please!"
The Thunderbolt Squad members nodded, "Mrs. Parker, don't worry. We'll handle everything."
"Really? Will Jonathan be alright?" Olivia couldn't believe it. There were hundreds of men, and the leader was Elijah. In such a situation, trying to save Jonathan was equal to pulling teeth out of a tiger's mouth!
"Mrs. Parker, don't worry about it!" The Thunderbolt Squad members quickly got Olivia into the vehicle and shut the door.
As for Jonathan, the Squad knew their general stayed behind alone to kill. No one could stop him!

At the same time, back at the front door of Platinum Hotel.
"Brat, you're very arrogant! But arrogance comes at a price!" Elijah sneered cruelly.
Jonathan shook his head slightly. The hundred men before him were nothing in his eyes.
But Elijah couldn't understand it. Faced with so many people, Jonathan should be scared, but why was he smiling confidently as if everyone there was invisible?
Before Elijah could find an answer, Jonathan snorted, "Elijah, you're wrong! I'm not the one who'll pay the price. It's you and the Roberts family! Your end has come!"
