XXXV: In My Mind

1038 Words
Edith looked in the direction the wolf was looking and, with some apprehension, she asked, “What’s going on? Is something coming?” The wolf was still roaring loudly when in front of them, a red wolf appeared. The red wolf was bigger and had a certain evil air that gave him the strange sensation that he smiled, growling. He looked at the white wolf, only for several red wolves to appear surrounding Edith and her new friend. Edith looking at them, put on guard up, as she masked her fear. She then said after a snort, “I guess these are not friendly!” The white wolf crouched, ready to jump into battle while the red wolves circled around him, just a moment longer for the red wolf to jump on it, and in mid-air, his size increased, the white wolf bravely faced him, and they both started a terrible battle. The bites passed from side to side, and both bathed in their powerful tonality did not give the opponent an inch. They spun on their bodies as the ferocity of their fighting made Edith’s skin crawl with so much growling, snarling and biting. The more powerful their fight, the bigger the red wolves that surrounded Edith acquired. Another wolf intervened in the fight, biting hard on the white wolf’s back. He made a tremendous effort to get rid of both of them even though they were much bigger than him. Edith watched what was indecisively happening. With a determination that made her eyes shine, Edith raised her hands, and said coldly, said, “I can’t fight for you! But I will help you. Adolescent!” When saying that spell, a huge seal covered his hands, and the white wolf grew considerably, so much that the red wolves began to pale before its power. The wolf began to bite them with intensity causing many other wolves to intervene. They all seemed to be focused on destroying it, but thanks to the help of Edith, this achievement defeated them all a lot. They tried to run but biting one hard on the neck killed him instantly, causing the rest of the red wolves to disappear, and their essences entered his body. This changed the composition of the wolf, who seemed to suffer a bit. When looking at Edith, he slowly transformed into a man. His features changed drastically as his body submerged little by little. His unconsciousness took hold of him as Joshua began to sink into his own river of blood. Edith ran to protect him and, turning him on her legs, looked at his face. Joshua, the Joshua that she knew well, was in front of her. It seemed that nothing had changed while her calm breathing gave him a harmless air. Edith was roasting her hand on his head when a terrible tremor made the debris around her fall. The young woman opened her eyes in amazement and looking in all directions, and she could not be sure what was happening. She forcefully lifted Joshua on her shoulders with a lot of effort. While dragging him, she activated her magic and chanted, “Vires Corpóris!” Her own muscles enlarged a bit so she could carry Joshua more easily. Her strength had increased a bit, but Joshua was still massive, and carrying him was a huge feat. The floor continued to shake as a colossal beast stepped forward. She ran a couple of meters until she saw a strange room with a shattered facade and half-submerged. As she entered, she used the part that was still standing to cover herself while a colossal-sized wolf and a color black as night walked, looking for something in the infinite river of blood. Edith hid as best she could, waiting for that enormous demon to pass. Only her presence made everything look impossible, that overflowing sorrow made the whole environment cool, and her body, with each step, made the earth tremble. When the wolf was away, she came out a little to see him better, he was a gigantic wolf, and without understanding what was happening, she heard a voice behind her saying sorrow! It has grown a lot!” She turned and what she saw was Joshua sitting completely naked, looking at her with a smile. She tried to focus, but the nakedness of the young man distracted her. He got up and approached her, and without being able to say words felt how he hugged her and gathered his body in a warm and loving gesture. While Edith hugged him, she felt his body and the fear that she had felt when she saw him unhinged disappeared, and she heard him say, “You came for me! I can´t believe it!” And at that moment, Edith knew that the one in her arms was Joshua. The real Joshua. Edith looked at Joshua. He was completely naked but hugging him felt great. There was a lump on her throat, and she felt like crying, which was so unlike her before. I need to get used to this mate bond thing… Edith thought to herself helplessly. Just as she was busy, surveying his nice ooh la la chest, going down to… “Like what you see?” Joshua asked with a weak but teasing tone. With that, Edith's face turned red from embarrassment. She glared at him to cover it up.   “Why are you naked?” She forcefully asked as she tried not to pay attention to the boy’s many charms. Joshua chuckled before he looked at himself. He asked, “I can stay naked as long as you want.” Nevertheless, before Edith could snap, he already surrounded himself in clothes. When she saw that Edith asked, surprised, “How did you do that?” Joshua smiled and, looking at the young woman tenderly, and he said softly, “You’re in my mind, remember?” She looked at him well, but something was not right. The wolf did not show his natural attitude, that arrogance that characterized him. He looked much more tender and affectionate, and that puzzled Edith, who saw it. “Are you really you?” She asked with unmasked worry.
