Her enemy got up, and then as she walked away, Edith but watched the enemy with confusion. Edith did not understand what was happening, and as a witch with the blessing of death, she was the best person to confirm if someone was dead. Edith knew that he was dead. He had no pulse. “Death cannot claim my love!” The enemy declared while looking at her smugly. Edith looked at him with unmasked confusion. She was still unable to understand what he was saying. He continued to smile as he repeated, “Death cannot claim me, and I am not what you would say alive!” Edith was looking at him, highly confused, when she said, “You are undead! Or a zombie?” The man laughed out loud when he shook his head. He said, “No! They are not alive, in the human sense of the word, but they still exist and have a certain connection with their being when you destroy them, their pass to the death god, not me! You cannot kill me, no matter how much you destroy me!” Edith looked at him, and he smiled added, “Instead, I to you!” And with those words, she threw her arm away, and it stretched long looking for Edith’s neck. The young woman rolled onto her back to avoid the blow and raised her hands, and she said, “Exadecere!” And a strong black flame came out of his hand shot towards him, he received it fully and screaming with madness he twisted on the ground when from the tumult of black flames another elongated arm appeared taking Edith by the arm and lifting her until hitting her from a wall. Her roasted arms fell from her body while the two arms that she had created from her back moved until they were substitutes for the ones she had lost. She could modify her body to her pleasure when the man calmly said, “You can attack me all you want, and you won’t be able to kill me! Death is a concept that does not exist in my body.” Edith, terrified, was trying to free herself from her when joining her fingers created a strange blade that she said, “Are you afraid? That means you can die!” Edith remembered the conditions that the goddess of death had placed on her, and even more, fear took part in her seeing what was approaching. She hoped that Joshua would save her somehow, but he was very far away, he would not arrive in time to rescue her, and before that, the man decided to give his final thrust, a dark leftover sliced his arm and legs and took Edith out of that place. The man seeing her arm and her severed legs, created others and, getting up with a smile, said, “One more person to play with!” And with those words, he continued to chase her. Joshua delicately placed his sister on the ground. The void was behind them and seeing his enemy in front and his mother, who clearly resented what happened while she was in transe with the moon, thought about the possibilities that this confrontation could bring. He slowly opened her hand and, pulling his spear, and managed to take it and then look at Cecil’s eyes and tell him. “You will pay for this!” Cecil did not stop alternating his glances between his sister, his mother, and Joshua, three possible targets to hurt the alpha with a force that delighted him, however in front of him, the anger of a completely different person from the one he had already faced before reverberated. He was not a simple werewolf, and as much as he despised the idea of alpha, he had to accept that seeing one in full was intimidating. He had never been cautious when fighting with beasts. His vampire years made him ancient, and facing a werewolf usually just reaffirmed his power, but this time his instincts kicked in, warning that this fight would not be like anything had seen. “You know from this distance I can get to your mother before you get to me! I know you trust that monstrous force that you gained, but no matter how strong you are, I will be able to get to it sooner!” Cecil said. Joshua looked at him without losing a second of his actions, and by squeezing his hands, he prepared to attack, Cecil looked at him, and the threat of him persisted while he said something nervous. “I warn you! You will not be able to prevent it from reaching it! You’re lost.” Joshua roared slowly as a prelude to an attack that was imminent, Cecil did not know if it was confident that he could capture him or a fit of anger so powerful that it blinded him, but the truth was that he could do nothing but prove his words, the werewolf was I would regret putting the pressure on him. “Do not say I did not warn you!” With speed, he shot towards Joshua’s mother, who was still praying under the moonlight, his speed as always was overwhelming, and reaching her would not be a problem, or at least that’s what he thought when he felt a stabbing pain in his knee and opening his eyes saw Joshua’s spear piercing his joint. In pain, his speed was seriously affected, and when he looked up to see his enemy, a huge fist was hit in his face. The illusions that he had put all over the place were useless, and he could not escape from Joshua’s new eyes, and the impact was so strong that he felt his life reeling as he flew off the cliff with force. Joshua pulled his spear back toward him and watched as his enemy uncontrollably fell when he caught her. He had wanted to hit him that way for a long time, and having done it gave him enormous satisfaction.
