LIV: Dealing with a Huntress

1009 Words
The hunter smiled and, from the lack of it, took out a syringe. The liquid in the syringe was blue, and Nate saw it said, “No matter how many weapons you have, they won’t work against me!” She grinned and said, “I will show you the commitment I have to my god!” And saying that, he inserted the syringe into her neck. She calmly injected all the liquid, and her eyes began to cry. Opening her eyes, they dyed blue, and with a smile, she said, “Now you will see my commitment!” Nate was on guard. What was happening was strange. The girl’s veins showed a strange blue color, and when she looked at him, her eyes had blue marks. The veins on her face sprouted and around her eyes. Blue veins filled her gaze when she claimed. “For my God! I will assassinate you!” Nate wanted to get into the shadows, but the girl, without using any weapon, raised her right hand, and a huge amount of water flew in the direction of the young man. The pressure was such that it reached him in a fraction of seconds, giving him barely anytime to cover his face. The pressure of the water lifted him off the ground and made him fly all the way until he broke the window of a shoe store and forced his way into the store. Nate took a deep breath as he looked out of the shoe store, as the woman smiled. He did not understand what had happened, but at that moment, the young woman separated her index and middle finger from her, and in the middle of both, a tiny ball of water was created. From that ball, a powerful line of water shot into the tent where Nate was. Nate leaning forward a little, managed to avoid her, but brushing his shoulder, parted his skin. Nate touched the wound, and looking behind him, saw how the counter where the water line had collided split cleanly in two as if it had been cut by the sharpest sword in the world. Nate couldn’t believe what he saw. His regeneration abilities weren’t as fast as a vampire’s, and the young woman separating all her fingers from her hands began to shoot several lines of water in his direction. Nate, without wasting time, got into the shade to move around, but the young woman surrounded herself in water and shot it in every direction. When Nate came out of the shadow, the momentum of the water that she had fired from her caught him and lifted him off the ground until it smashed him against a wall. The girl threw a ball of water from her hand, and Nate, still stunned by the blow, could not dodge it. When this ball hit him, he grew to put it inside a water bubble that covered him. Nate could barely move, and the air was beginning to fail him. The woman in front of him smiled and said, “That’s what you get for being a creature of the night! Now you will die for doubting the power of my god!!” Nate looked at her with anger and darkened his hand as if it were made of shadows, made the gesture of grabbing something. The young woman saw it, but it was too late when she realized that behind her where her shadow was, a hand was trying to take her hair. She tried to move, but when she took her eyes off it, the water ball lost its effect, and Nate broke free of her. When he was free, he entered the shadow, and the woman tried to attack him again but failed, preparing to expel a huge amount of water again. Nate came out of a shadow near her. She forcefully expelled the water, and when she hit Nate’s figure, he instantly turned to shadow and fell back to the ground. The hunter didn’t understand it until she felt Nate’s legs wrap around her body, and the man began to strangle her. “I have you!!” Nate said, tightening the girl’s neck. She was trying hard to free herself from him, but tightening his grip around her neck told her. “Sorry! But I won. I’m not going to kill you, unlike you. I do believe in life!” And with those words, he squeezed the rear-naked choke until her consciousness was lost. At that moment, she fell to the ground, and seeing her, she said, “To look like a monster hunter, you seem more Monster than a human. And with those words, the man tied her up and prepared to move. He had to tell the girls the things these hunters could do. Edith and Seraphim were inside a*****e. They were still very far from the central tower, and getting there would be quite complicated. They both looked at the street, and it did not seem that many hunters were in front. The street had several cars in the middle, and the entrance to the subway was on the left side. Seraphim was trying to calculate the proper route to reach the central tower. When looking at Edith, she said, “That wound won’t stop bleeding, and you have to heal it somehow.” Edith looked at the wound and forcefully broke the leg of an iron chair. She said, “Ignis!” From her hand, a flare came out, and she began to heat the leg of the chair. Seraphim looked at her, and then looking at the street, she saw a pharmacy on the other street. She calmly said, “I’ll go to the pharmacy and bring something for you!” Edith looked at her, but before she could say anything about it, the girl had already left the store. Just putting her foot outside, an arrow fell near her. Seraphim looked at the shooter, a man with a cowboy hat and a brown overcoat who was smiling.
