Chapter 12

"Henly wait up!" I yelled as I chased my beautiful girl through the field of flowers.

"Come on, Alpha, catch me." She squealed before taking a sharp left to avoid me lunging for her.

I caught up with her and tackled her onto the ground making our bodies roll with each other. When we finally stopped she was straddling me.

"I love you" I told her as I grabbed her hips and trailed kisses down her neck. 

"I love you too.." She said sighing and then sitting up straight.

"I know that look Hen and I've told you everyday we've been here and I'll say it again. I AM NOT GOING BACK!" I told her before rolling out from under her and sitting up with my legs crossed.

"He needs you." She said with sadness in her eyes.

"Jax has Yadira, he's fine." 

"You know I'm not talking about Jax.." She looked down at the grass under us before continuing."He is your mate. You have to go back Skai just like I need to follow the Goddess over to where my parents are." 

"Why, we are happy here. I am happy here, with you. I only ever wanted you" I pleaded, reaching my hand to her chin and lifting her head up to meet my eyes. She was crying, she knew that always got me. 

"Baby don't cry, aren't you happy with me too?" I asked, softly stroking her tears away.

"The goddess said my mate waited on the other side for me, where our parents were." She whispered 

"You have a mate? Here?" I asked overjoyed. All I've ever wanted for her was her mate. She dreamed about it often and she deserved it. "wait does that mean hes also... dead?"

She nodded. I had to leave now, I wouldn't keep her from what she's always wanted. I brought her face to mine and kissed her mouth softly before whispering "I love you". Then I backed away and closed my eyes, feeling the darkness take over again.

I could feel my soul entering my body again and I could feel Akira joining. My feeling started coming back and then all my senses followed. I smelld Yadira beside me, she was talking about baby names. I heard her ask Jax what my middle name was and talking about using it for the baby. She mention Henlys name too. I opened my eyes and saw I was in their room on their bod with Yadira to my side and Jax by the closed door. 

"Marie" I said softly. My throat burned.

Jax looked over wide eyed and Yadira grabbed my hand. 

"Oh Skai, you scared us" She started sobbing. I squeezed her hand before turning to Jax.

"My middle name, it's Marie but you guys should be looking for boy names. Henly said it would be a boy." They smiled at me and before I could sit up I was lifted into Jax arms and spun around.

"How is she?" He asked

"Happy, the goddess gifted her with a mate there." Jax set me down and looked at me with sadness. He knew I was there with her, I would've stayed there too. She is my happiness and now I have none. 

"When do we leave?" I looked to Jax who looked over at Yadira.

"Now. Jax killed Ron, the Alpha isn't happy." Yadira started grabbing her things and stuffing them into a bag. Jax followed and handed me my back pack.

"Thanks" I muttered.

Once everything was packed Jax unlocked the door and headed out first Yadira next and then I followed behind. We made it to the kitchen before Jax stopped. I looked ahead and Hakan and Theo were seated at the table staring with wide eyes like they've seen a ghost. Hakan moved first and made his way to me.

He reached a hand out to touch my face but I slapped it away. Jax said he never came to see me and I knew he was with another when I was r***d. I was still furious. I slapped his hand away before balling my fists at my side.

"Skai listen..." I cut him off

"I, Skai  Thompson, reject you Hakan King, as my mate." 

"I don't accept. Just let me explain!" He grabbed m wrist causing Jax to growl at him. I shook my head and Jax backed down.

"I felt it you know. Felt the pain in my chest as he was beating me. The pain that YOU caused, but you saved me because without you f*****g someone else I wouldn't have been numb enough to lay there and take it. I would've felt his fist every time it collided into my face, or when he pulled my pants down and and clawed my thighs raw. I would've felt his d**k enter me and exit me repeatedly.I wanted to die, to be with her." I paused letting one single tear escape "But she said you needed me, so she made me leave. You don't need me, you don't even deserve me." I stood on my tip toes and kissed his cheek before walking out the door. 

"Your bike is by the side of the house." Jax said before handing me the keys.

"Thanks, you have the address right? Its safe there and secluded. Call if you need anything." I hugged Yadira. I gave them the address to Jea's house. They'll be safe there. Jax lifted me into his arms and kissed my head. "She loved you" He said before putting me down.

"I loved her more." With that they got into their car and drove off. I made sure they were out of site before I got off my bike and walked back into the house. Theo stood in the kitchen confused.

"Where is he?"  Before he could answer Hakan come out of the living room, hurt in his eyes. He looked down like he was ashamed. 

"How did you know my mother?" I wanted answers. 

"I don't?" He questioned. 

"You said you've seen my eyes before. My mother was the only other of our kind with them. So let me ask again, how did you know my mother?"

"Come with me.." He walked towards a hallway and into a room that looked like an office. He went behind the desk and pulled a frame out and handed it to me.

"My father kept this in his office, claimed he loved the woman in the picture, but he also said that she would've brought death to the whole pack." He paused, rubbing the back of his neck. "He spent years looking for her until his death."

"She was killed by fire you know, her and my dad both were caught in a house fire 6 years ago. Your dad killed her.."

"No, impossible. He died 10 years ago Skai."

Wait that doesn't make sense. Then it had to have been him. Jea told me that his pack was responsible.

"Then it was you?" I gritted out.

"No, 6 years ago I wasn't even 16 yet. I didn't have my wolf or my abilities. I didn't kill your family. Is that why you rejected me?!"

"No I rejected you because you f****d someone else, making you a liar. You said you were a virgin!"

"I didn't lie! I am, we didn't sleep together!" He yelled before looking down. Ahh I get it now, he let another woman put her mouth on what belonged to me. But if he didn't kill my mother and neither did his dad then who in this pack did? I needed to find out, but I couldn't risk Jax and Yadiras lives to do it. 

I was about to say something when the door opened and a woman with long dark brown hair and grey eyes walked in. She was short and curvy with beautiful tanned skin, she was a low ranked she-wolf. She looked surprised to see me and looked over to Hakan with anger flashing in her eyes. This must be the woman. 

"You said she was leaving?" He spit words towards him before looking at me.

"And you are?" I asked in amusement. She was a spit fire, if she wasn't f*****g my mate I might actually like her.

"Gretta" She whispered, she was scared.

"Well Gretta have you come to suck my mate off again because if so go ahead." I waived my hand towards Hakan, "I'm not done talking yet, so you'll have to work while we talk, okay?"

She looked confused and kept looking between me and him. Her eyes landed on me and I saw lust flash in them. She wanted us both. naughty little omegas always wet over any Alpha that comes in their view.

I smiled over at Hakan who was looking at me with lust as well.

"Seems your little omega wants me this time dear mate." I laughed and pointed to the omega. "Come get on your knees." I demanded and slid my self onto the desk. She did as she was told and looked up at me with want. I spread my legs, letting the dress I was wearing ride up my thighs and expose my lace thong underneath.

"This what you want little omega?" I asked.

"Yes Alpha.." She muttered while licking her lips. I looked at Hakan, my eyes never leaving his while I spoke again.

"Then go ahead, omega." With that she rose and started sliding my underwear off and onto the floor. Her tongue shot out and stated licking my folds while her finger rubbed circles into my c**t. I knew he could feel the pain. His body tensed and his eyes turned black. His wolf on the verge of taking over. His breathing became shorter as he dug his nails into his palms to keep from collapsing from the pain.

I let a moan escape my mouth while grinning at him and that seemed to be all that I needed for his wolf to take over.

"Enough!" He screamed making the omega stop and whimper away. He picked her up by her hair and threw her out the door before kneeling down in her spot. 

"I don't think so" I said before closing my legs. That seemed to piss him off more. He stood up and threw me over his shoulder before carrying me to his room setting me down on the couch.

"Don't move little wolf, I have a special punishment for you." He said before getting a key out and unlocking the forbidden door. I purred with excitement as I waited.
