"No i can't, it's already late" Sia a light skinned and adorable girl in the mid of twenties shouted at her friend Agatha who was serving her breakfast.She was struggling to put on her flat closed shoes and then hugged Agatha and took off to work. Sia was a home teacher to a rich ladie's daughter and she had to teach her every quarter of the week day and go back home to attend to some of her hair and makeup customers.She found her makeup customer that she had promised to be their in time already waxed up,she apologised took her to her house which was a single room that worked as the bedroom and the sitting room. The next morning Sia gets a call from her long lost classmate Tobby who happened to be some what a of bully in her high school times.Then the door slamed as Agatha her friend had come to see her."No am not avoiding you guys or anything,but am always busy with work but i'll be there."Sia said on phone and then she hang up"Guess who called,it's Tobby from high school.The guy who used to call me a Oooz"Sia told Agatha that he had invited her to the class reunion party and Agatha asked her if she was to go for the party and she said yes,since it had been ages she didn't think they would do anything like what they used to... That late evening she borrowed Agatha's red short bodycon dress that portrayed her well propotioned feminine figure and wore her black heels with a black bag well set to go."Make sure you don't let those dumb asses bad mouth you at the party"Agatha told her friend but she just smiled as she left for the party, she really knew how Agatha loved her as a sister and how they always had each others back.When she reached the party she found that it had already started and she was really late because she felt the sweat and body odour and some bottles of whiskey,cosmos,water and beer had already been emptied so she found a place to seat ."Ooh, you look so adorable."said Claire as she sat next to her. Sally teased which made all the colleagues' attention to get to Sia "I,I'm"she stummered and Sally threw another question at her wether she had a boyfriend as everyone was quiet all of them looking at Sia she said"yes i do, i have a boyfriend" everyone suprised because they really knew that she was a girl who had that self reservation theme within her and immitatingly Sally asked again "who is he,do we know him".Since Sia wanted to shut her up forever she told her "yes you know him yaeh he is very popular and handsome you really do but i can't tell you the name we just want keep it private" but as they all hesitated and they were doubting her she apparently told them "the name starts with 𝙆 . "If it's k i know him it's Keystone"Claire guessed but as for Sia she just accepted and everyone was suprised and happy for Sia as some hugged her and congratulated her which she felt good to go on with,the sweetness of a lie.She had just waken up and making her bed,Agatha opened the door knob forcefully which sturtled Sia and she came in"So your here comfortable seriously,hmmm comfortably sitted" Agatha said in a mumbling manner as she also sat on Sia's bed,"Tell me what is it your scaring me now ,what?"Sia asked in a faint tone."What did you do, what commotion did you cause at the party?Agatha asked her Sia looking relieved she told her what had happened during the night and what she did to shut Sally up. "Okay,the thing is that you my darling friend your all over the blogs see for yourself" Agatha picked out her phone to show her.When Sia looked at the blogs she looked at her friend dilusionly"Omho, what's this,so this is the Keystone?" she asked her friend in a befuddled manner."So you don't know Keystone,then why did you say you are dating him"Agatha asked her in a curious tone. Agatha looked at her with pity while Sia was still mummuring some inaudible words and asking herself how it had gotten to the blogs yet it just happened last night but by that time it was already done and nothing would take it back. On the other side of the city in Lekki,Keystone Danjyoma owned a multi-million company that was one of the best five working companies in the country.Keystone had a well proportioned averaged musculine body with a narrow waist which made a v shaped torso,he had fair skin tone ,captivating eyes that seemed to have a hidden depth and a well chiseled jaw line...His figure exuded confindence and a sense of queit authority. Keystone was always busy he did not have that much time for social media. So the next day Sia reached at her job of home teaching where she was welcomed with passionate smiles that she was even offered a glass of passion juice and Ms Ada her boss told her to sit down so that they can have a conversation"So how is our boyfriend?"Ms Ada asked her excitedly as for Sia was looking confused and asked her which boyfriend she was talking about "Am talking about Keystone, Okay the main issue is that i would like to meet him just take a few pics with because it would bring me a promotion at my job , my boss likes him so much."Ms Ada said as she touched her hand in a pleading way, she even asked her why she was doing such a job with such a millionare guy but Sia ignored her question as she was just giving her only faint confusing smiles . So then she just agreed as she usually did.. On her way back home she by passed two guys who seemed to know her, they finger pointed her as if they were talking about her as they looked at their phones,she increased in her speed and they started chasing her, they wanted to take pictures until she reached home... She got drinking water as she was having a difficult in breathing and then she called Agatha to tell her what was going on with her... Keystone found Sophie taking pictures in his house and reminded him of how he refused her taking pictures in his house,"But how will even my followers get to know that you are my best friend,am i not worth the show off?"Sophie complained as she got into the car but she insisted that they should atleast make a very short t****k video together "it won't take long,pleeeaaasse" she begged him politely until Keystone accepted to do for her that favor. As she got to realise her friend was not replying, she turned around to see and to what she saw she was so dashed because it was indeed an unexpected visit. Keystone and his friends were sitted in her couch. "Good good afternoon, sir"Sia sturttered "You must be Sia for the look of things? Sia sat on the floor, she felt like she was losing her mind at that moment, lowered her head as she cried, Agatha was there to comfort her and hugged her to make her feel ease till she fell asleep. Next day of work,she knocked the door and it was opened,Ms Ada got out and closed it behind her back "Not so fast Madam, so you think i can let a person like you to spend time with my daughter as her teacher? Ofcourse not so i have got another teacher for my daughter so please find your way out of my space."She told Sia with a thunderous voice.Sia pleaded because she really needed this job but Ms Ada just banged the door infront of her. On her way home as she walked with her mind so far away a young lady across the road finger pointed her but she did't care because she knew what was going on. "Ashawo!!!" the lady shouted at her and a gang of youthful boys came from the road side and started splashing water on her, threw eggs at her and cursing strong words to her as she ran for her life. Later that evening, Sophie was sitted on Keystone's bed as she laughed loudly, "This b***h deserved it, K you should see this" as she handed him the phone.Keystone just frowned his face in disgrace and looked at Sophie unbelievably. Sia in her bed lost in thoughts she got up and sat picked up her phone and straightened her hair to start recording."Hi guys it's Sia here, for the past days i have not been myself due to the social media anxiety guys. But for clarity i never said i was dating Mr Keystone, yes i lied but it was a misconception which i have tried to explain to him but refused to listen..." she explained and on the other side Keystone watched that live. Sia went to her usual market place and got all her groceries but when she was about to reach home the same young lady from the previous incident came and slapped when she was completly unaware this time round it was different they were really hurting. On reaching her home, her house door was open when she entered, her house was all messed up her bed mattress was on the floor, her sheets were cut, glass table broken and everything was out of place.On hearing footfalls she quickly grabbed her metallic artificial flower vessel ready for anyone who was about to get it, Keystone came in and asked her what was going on. "So it's you, are happy now?" Sia asked him angrily. He denied it because definately it couldn't be him, he was a generous guy. "Ever since i met you, there has been one problem or the other what do you want why are you tomenting me"Sia raised her voice. He truly proved her that he did'nt have any hand in this but at this point she could not believe any of his words. "Okay, well some one does. Look, just look at my house. Am just a simple girl trying to make ends meet but i cannot do that anymore because no one wants me around, i've lost jobs i've lost everything" she argued with her arms holding her waist. "Sia please you have to believe me..." he tried but she was not ready to listen anything from him "You want me to believe you? You and your men, burged into my house, handed me that piece of paper and forced me to recite it online. I begged you, I pleaded but you didn't listen " she raised her voice as she cried. "Okay i know your upset and yes am sorry for all this but you have to calm down" "Calm down? Your telling me to calm down? Agatha was not around, she had gone to treat her sick mother and she was to be away for sometime and Keystone refused the idea of hotels too claiming they were not safe too. "I think you will have to come stay at my place" he said thoughtfuly. Keystone did not like staying with people alot, he enjoyed his own company accept his friend Jake but in this case he just had to do it. Sia raised her eyes to him "Your joking right? You see me, I'm tired of this s**t and not doing this" she didn't want to share anything with him, not even breathe air. But Keystone had decided and she had no place to stay and it was already getting dark. Keystone was sitting on her bed looking at her a she slept. Damn! She looked so gorgeous her beauty was unresistable. She opened her eyes slowly, shockingly got up on the sight of him. "Don't worry, I have just come to check on you and tell you that if you need anything you can ask Ms Rachael" he told her as he stood up from her bed. As he was leaving, an old lady came in " Ooh, thank God your awake " she said as she placated a smile for her. she too smiled back. Ms Rachael got time to give her a tour around the house, it was so big and palace like.Sia felt the real definition of luxury in each corner of the house they reached. "When we arrived it was late and i didn't see anyone till now apart from you. Where is his wife and children?" Sia curiously asked. " Mr Keystone? I have never seen him even flirter with one not even in his youth, he is always doing what he is best with and thats work." Ms Rachael told her. Sia came downstair hurriedly in her floral dress, fancy life really looked good on her.She noticed that Keystone was having breakfast and she was going to make a U turn. " You can come and join me, if you don't mind." "No it's fine i'll have mine later, am not hungry thou." She told him as she went back. "So your still mad at me,aren't you? Honestly she still held that little grudge against him but she is his house now, under his custody,she decided to join him to just to avoid the drama.They had their breakfast. Sia sat on the long swinging bench looked at the view of town as she sat at the top floor in the back yard.It was really peaceful as she breathed the fresh air "What are you thinking of " A calm strong voice of Keystone as he sat next to her "Ooh nothing, it's nothing much, just sitting and listening to the world." she said as she smiled briefly. He stayed silent to feel it too. She really had started to enjoy the life and he felt the ride too.They went out together,he took her to fancy places, went to movie night,shopping and shared each other's life stories.They both started to feel the tension between.Keystone had never in his life been freely open to any person. Sia came in her bathrobe as her phone was ringing,"My girl hope your enjoying, how far, give me gist"Agatha spoke with laughter.She was her best so she told her everything" I know girl i know, I can't lose guard, we are two different people from two different worlds you know, it can't work so i will just have to enjoy the moment till i will have to leave"Sia said as she was about to hang up. I have known you for years but you can't let me even take a single pic in your ..."Sophie paused as someone knocked at the door. Sia came in. "Seriously Key, what happened to staying in the hotel,Keystone i am your friend but you don't even let me stay in your house for a single night but you let this stranger...Your so unbelievable" She moved out angrily,Sia figured that maybe it was not the right time and she was leaving too but Keystone called her back. He said he would see Sophie later. She had come to thank him for the gift as well as give it back, she thought he had alredy done enough since he also went on his social media platform and emphasized his followers to treat her good,she had gained her peace back and everything. Going downstairs she found Sally sitted in the couch with smiles allover her face "I had you guys moved together so i decided to come and prove it myself, i told the askari i'm your friend so he let me in."she talked and smiled arrogantly. "Sally? What brings you here to collect other news for the blogs"She asked as she looked at her from head to toe "No,no it's not that, my birthday is next week so i figured i can invite you and come along with him."Sally mumbled She laughed at her scornfully."So yesterday you hated me and now here to invite me to your birthday party because i am close to him.Sally,I'm nolonger that girl from high school that you used to provoke"She told her as she pointed at her and with the most serious face she has ever had.Sally never had she seen this side of her,she jaw dropped. "If you think me and you will ever be friends, haa,your even dumber than i thought.Leave this house"Sia went back upstairs with a relief in the breathe,she really wanted to do that for a long time. Sia in her room packing her stuff, Keystone came in and noticed.He asked her wether she was going somewhere. "Keystone it's my time to leave,Agatha told me my house renovation was done a while ago and it's been almost a month now"She explained to her sensitively. "But i thought you enjoyed it here,i thought we had a good time.It's too soon Sia."He told her as she continued to fold her clothes.He couldn't just let her go like that he loved her.He had also come to her room to tell her that he had gotten her a deal with one of the best popular make up artists,he knew how she loved the make up and design thing.She was amused and she couldn't believe him.He was a Danjyoma he would do anything in terms of business transactions. "But Keystone it's not like i don't like this job but you have done alot for me. You know i just don't want people to think that we are morethan friends or anything"She told her softly as she looked him straight in the eye.He came close and closer that she could feel his breathe. "Sia i think you need to leave,now"Keystone commanded her angrily.And he also told Sophie how evil she was,he had made an investigation and he came to know that she was behind the chaotic actions that had happened to Sia. Sophie had admired and loved Keystone for a long time and she would do anything if anyone came between him and her.But Keystone didn't and could nolonger take her in as a friend anymore. Sia got a cab,and went back to her place,she cried the all way home.She told Agatha everything,she sympathised her,though they both thought the relationship can't work but it didn't have to end like this as well. A few week later... "Your sure you don't want to come with me?You never know you might even find your prince charming at this function.Please lets go"Agatha pleaded and teased Sia.She had decided to just stay home,she hadn't gotten over the tragedy that happened. During the early night hours,Sia heard a knock on her door.When she opened she was just left speechless and amused at the sametime. "How have you been?"He asked her as he sat on the couch.She first stared at him,she really didn't even know how to feel at this moment.She replied her and asked him too. "I have not been well, i really missed you Sia"He said facing her direction.She reminded him that it has been three weeks now and he didn't even call now he says he missed her.But he was a typical business man he had business trips but also had to clear his head too. "Well Keystone,Listen,what Sophie said about..."she was chimed by Keystone. "I don't care about that it's in the past i know and uderstand maybe life was really hard,don't worry"He held her hand show her how serious he was. "No Keystone it's not like that.Yeah life was hard by that time and there is a lady who suggested this company that recruited amature models and I wanted to join,I sent my photos as they had requested but when i got there and it wasn't it.I pulled back."She explained him as held him back.He told him about Sophie. Sia wondered what she ever did to her but Keystone told her that she claimed she loved him which silenced Sia. "Sia,I don't love her the only person i want is you and i know it will work despite your fears."He said as he leaned closer to her because he knew she was really scared of this but they loved each other and deserved to give it a chance. She looked at him lightly, they could not resist eachother anymore. She put her soft ripe heavy lip on his as a seal for their start... 💠💠💠
