Chapter Twenty-Five Cohen Ember wasn’t exactly back to being her old self, but she wasn’t acting as distant as she’d been recently. Sipping on red wine as she looked at the menu, she seemed a lot more relaxed. “I’m thinking about ordering the lobster ravioli.” Peering over the top of the large menu, she asked, “What about you? What do you think you’re gonna get?” “Why?” I teased her, knowing she wanted me to get something that she might want to try too.
