After gobbling down my fast food dinner with speed that would render one speechless, I looked at the two ladies
Mist is still unconscious but Mila opened her eyes and sat well
My face suddenly changed from a satisfied look to a suspicious one, a sharp whistle sounded from afar and was approaching by the second; it was getting clearer as it approached.
I quickly grabbed the weak Mila and the unconscious Mist and dashed out of the building with maximum speed

My actions astonished Mila, she instinctively thought I'm going to do something to her while she was weak, thus was angered out of embarrassment
But the moment her shocking cry escaped her, it was overpowered by a the huge explosion
16th Saltlake street was destroyed by the explosion under Mila's gaze. The roof flew up dozens meter in the air and the fire left from the explosion swallowed what was left of the building
Seconds later, 16th Saltlake street has sunk into a sea of fire
Mila was dumbstruck when she saw the fiery scene, her mouth was even muttering to herself
"A rocket missile?!"
"Impossible! Impossible! I only went to eavesdrop on worthless information , how did it exaggerate itself like this?"
Mila was obviously frightened
Though I do want to comfort her, I knew this was a good chance to test the waters and I am always smart enough to size the chance
"Eavesdropping on some worthless information? I think that is your own assumption not theirs. First Big Mac wanted to kill us then Mist and now a killer with heavy artillery. I'm starting to regret being your boyfriend! Now please leave, I'll wait for the police and tell them everything that happened here. Don't worry about my safety, I'll find my own way to save myself ."

She panicked but she didn't forget how I moved her out of harm's way like a prophet seeing through the future plus I am able to defeat Mist even without fighting at all, Mila had treated me as her life saving straw, she tried to grab my coat but I easily shook her off.
"Of course I can and having the abilities seems to be my own matter. Why do I have to believe you are my girlfriend, why do I have to help you?"
I looked down at the begging Mila with my emotionless face and replied with a dull tone.
"They knew you were with me and even if you tell the police, what difference will it make? Trouble will still lock on your door!" Mila tried to persuade me with a cheap excuse

My question though seems to send her into a difficult position what was more pressuring was the police siren could already been heard from afar

The lady chose to compromise with me since she had no intention to meet with the police
However I pretended to turn a deaf ear to her suggestions, I even tried to walk aside a few steps, trying to draw the line between us.

I, however didn't reply to her question since it was the truth

I gave her a hand chop at the back of her neck to stop her from struggling, I could do that easily since it turn out that she isn't even the dead Levin's girlfriend
I also grabbed the unconscious Mist before swiftly hiding in darkness
