Love Maze

Who knew that love can be this too hurtful to someone who thought that everything is now going great after he got his own partner and that “partner” is the one who he truly love in his whole entire life. I guess it’s true that everything started with happiness but as time goes by, both of you will have a feeling of being away from each other because of the problems that keeps you both being away from each other and will feel the absence of your lover, but you can’t go back from what is was again, now that you feel regretful from what you just did in the past.

Everything happens when they’re in middle school. The usual high school love drama with a twist. Nathan Walter, a 17 year old boy who's lonely in life when he's in 1st up to 8th grade. Not until when he reach 9th grade, that's where everything changed for him. On the other side, a boy named Cody Dawson, a 16 year old and a hopeless romantic person who's so in love with a guy named Jay, who's in 9th grade class back then. Everything is normal not until when he reached 11th grade. The day where the tables have turned.

Teenage life is sure full of problems especially family problems. Cody's Dad left him when he was still a child. His mom never told him what's the reason why but Cody is fine with his mom only because his dad was a jerk to him. But still, Cody still wants to know what the reason is why. All he know is that his father left them because he found someone "better" and have a new family. His family are so mess up back then and no one knows about that except for him and his mom. But, there is this one person who he trust the most that he didn’t even regret telling it to him.

What happens if the person who you love the most and suddenly vanished and start ignoring you for no reason and then one day, you saw them in an unexpected place? Will you hug them and say “I missed you.”, “Are you okay?”, “can I hug you again”, “ can you hug me again?”, “I missed your laughs, your smile, your hugs, your lips, your kisses, your comforts”, or will just ignore them and act like you didn’t saw them?

Guess what, they both chose the other choice that they soon regret it.

Nathan Walter was a victim of bullying back then and Jay was one of them. Nathan was suicidal back then because of those traumatic experiences he encountered. Diana (his mom) told her husband David to transfer Nathan into another school but David only did was to talk to the principal of the school and little did he know, nothing changed. He just made it worst. Although Nathan loves his father so much, he still wants to punch his face because he never listen. 

Nathan clearly fell in love with Cody after months and months of watching him paint in their classroom alone every time their class ends. Too bad, one of Cody's friends caught him watching Nathan over his friend. 

"You know you could've just talk to him instead of being a creep" 

After months and months, all Cody's friends became friends with Nathan, well except for Cody. February 14, Valentine’s Day. Nathan has the courage to ask Cody to be his partner for their upcoming love event in their school. He really prepared for this one and he did not tell this to his friends. 

He was so excited and nervous at the same time. But that feeling soon washed away and changed into being regretful after his plan didn't go as what he expected. 

After David went back home from his job, the Walter's family have changed. Everything changed. Now that David know everything what his kids had been doing while he's away, he’s never been this so angry and disappointed. 

Nathan changed including his family, he tried his best to not show that he's struggling to his friends, especially to Cody. He cannot risk being burden to Cody. He needs to be strong so that Cody wont worried about him and he should take care of himself not him.

Everything is going well between them two. But who knew that the most important person in your life will be the cause of your heartbreak and sorrow. 

February 14

"You know that I love you right? This might not be the right decision but...let's not see each other for now."

"What?"

"Please trust me. I'm sorry I might not be with you on your next journey. But I promise I will come to your graduation! I will come back so wait for me. Please. Please trust me."

"What's happening? What's wrong??"

"Just trust me. Wait for me. I love you even if you don't love me--"

"When can we see each other again?!"

"...I don't know...”

"What do you mean you don't know?! What the fricking bullshit is this?! What the f**k?! What's happening?? Tell me!"

"It’s too complicated and you will not understand it. I don't want you to be involve to this so please just trust me."

"No. I will not. Not until you tell me the reason why--"

"Just say yes! Please. Will you trust me and wait for me?"

"...."

"PLEASE!"

"OKAY I WILL!"

“This is not a goodbye right... You will come back right?"
