CHAPTER 2

Cody threw his pillow after his mom left his room and he just went to the bathroom to do his routine and went to sleep. Hoping that tomorrow is a good day.

NATHAN

"THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!"

Why the hell is it my fault?!!!

~Before it happened~

"Nathan you're already late for school, when will you plan to fix yourself?" my mom said while putting her sandals. "Mom I'm sick" I said while pretending I have headache. Too bad my mom chuckled and said "you're not sick, you just don't want to go to school", "don't worry mom I'll take Nathan to his school" my brother said while sitting on the couch. "Okay, I need to go now there's an emergency that happened to the company “my mom said. "Okay be safe" We both said and our mom kissed our heads and left the house. "Alright Nathan. Get your ass up" Alex said after drinking his coffee and I whined. "Shut up" Alex said before he went to his bedroom to get ready.

“What took you so long?" I asked while standing next to Alex's car. "Of Course I took a shower first unlike you, who didn't shower *roll eyes* and can you not lean on my side mirror" Alex said as he aggressively pushed me to the side. "THAT HURTS! AND HEY ATLEAST I KNOW HOW TO STYLE “I said while rubbing my right arm. ”I don't care" Alex said before he hops in his car. Soon after I hopped in and Alex started driving to my school.

NO ONE

~at the school~

"Hey can you fetch me later?" Nathan asked before leaving the car, "What time?”,"6:00pm", "okay" After that, Alex left. Nathan enters the school and he was about to go to his classroom but he saw the principal coming so he quickly finds a place to hide. He hides at the girl's bathroom and what a relieve there's no one there. He was just waiting for the principal to leave but there's someone who caught his attention. It was Cody.

“MR DAWSON AND MR WILSON WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING HERE? THE WHOLE CLASS ARE IN THE GYMNASIUM" gymnasium? Why are they at the gymnasium? He quietly left the women's comfort room and went straight to the gymnasium. Once he got to the gymnasium, he found his classmates and join them.

“STUDENTS OF SOPHIRE HIGHSCHOOL, WE'RE HAVING AN EVENT FOR 75TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE SCHOOL TOGETHER WITH OTHER SCHOOL. YOU GUYS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE EVENTS." The speaker said and all the junior and senior high school whines. The teachers already gave them a lot of assignment and projects they're tired.

Nathan wasn't paying attention to it at all, he just want to go home and do nothing or maybe hangout with his friends. "Hey what about competition for all the students who's good at arts" one of his classmates recommend. "Again? Dude we always have that, think something new bruh" Jay said, completely disagreeing with her idea. "Why? We have a lot of students who's really good at arts. Especially Cody." The girl answered.

"Cody’s art is not that good tho" Jay replied. The girl just frowned and looked away. On the other side, Nathan look at the Gr 11 class and he saw Cody. He wasn't sure who is he looking at "Why the hell this boy blushing?" He said to himself. He followed the direction of his eyes and he found out Jay and Cody are looking at each other. Jay smile at him and Cody quickly look away.

“What a douchebag" Nathan whispered as he remembers what Jay said a while ago.

"Dude finally we can eat now." Kyle said as they walk towards to the canteen. "HEY YOU TWO! HEY!" The two of them looked back and saw one of jay friends running towards to them. "Hey we need you guys" the guy said while catching his breath. "For what?”, "Jay. Jay is planning to confess to Cristal and we decided to do it in the gymnasium so that a lot of people can watch" the guy explained. "Uhm...I don't know, we're kinda bu--", "GREAT! SEE YOU GUYS LATER. 5:00PM" the guy didn't let Kyle to finish his sentence and left them there defeated. Nathan and Kyle just sigh.

"OH s**t! I FORGOT THE ASSIGNMENT. DID YOU DO YOURS?!?" Kyle suddenly asked as they were about to sit and eat their snack. "We have an assignment?!"

"We have an assignment?!", "Yes!”, "When is the deadline?", "Today! And if Mr. Hellen found out that we didn't do our assignment, he's going to call our parents" Kyle said. "Relax, we still have time to do that" Nathan said as he took a bite of his sandwich. "Dude Mr. Hellen is our next teacher", "oh s**t" after that, both of them quickly run as fast as they can to their classroom.

"Quick what's the answer?!" Nathan asks as he open his book. "GUYS QUICK, GO BACK TO YOUR SEATS MR HELLEN IS COMING!" One of his classmates said. Kyle and Nathan looked at each other and went back to their seats. "Okay, now for our new topic we're discussing about the ---"

Thank God Mr. Hellen haven't mention the assignment yet. Minutes pass, the class is about to end and Mr. Hellen still haven’t talk about the assignment. "Okay class that's it for today" Mr. Hellen was about to leave until. "MR HELLEN YOU FORGOT THE ASSIGNMENT!" One of his classmates suddenly said. All the class glare at her. "Oh right... Well, it's already time, we'll continue it tomorrow" After that, Mr. Hellen left.

"Karen, I love you as a friend but please shut up" Nathan said as he fixed his things. "I will, if you dress nicely" Karen replied and Nathan gasped. "How Dare you say that to my face. THIS. IS. FASHION.” Karen chuckled and said "fashion my ass".

"You're just jealous because you don't how to dress well, look at your clothes I bet you don't know how to iron" Nathan jokingly said. "This is part of the design!", "At least brush your hair." Nathan said.

"Yo I hate this, I want to go home now" Nathan said as he and Kyle set up the stage as a lot of students are now coming inside of the gymnasium. “I hope Cody won't go here" Kyle said. "Why?" Nathan asked. "Cody likes jay so much and as far as I know, he'll confess his love for him today too" Kyle explained. Both of them are done putting the cardboard and Kyle was the first one who bid goodbye because his parents are now waiting for him and Nathan was just waiting for Alex to come. Someone texted him and it was Alex saying he's already at the gate. So he immediately left the gymnasium and went outside to find his brother.

He saw Alex's car and was about to go inside until he realizes something is missing. "What? What happened?" Alex's asked while sitting in the driver's seat. "I forgot something and I don't know what it is", "okay go back there, put your bag first inside the car" Alex said before closing the car window. Nathan was about to get his bag and that's when he realizes, his bag is missing.

He run quickly and went inside of the gymnasium and thank goodness he already found his bag and saw Jay entering the backstage. "Sorry I forgot you" he said to his bag. He was about to leave until someone running towards the backstage and tries to get in. "Hey what are you doing?" He asked as he stopped the little dude. "I'm sorry I just need to see Jay" and that's when he realizes it was Cody.

Nathan remembers what Kyle said a while ago "Cody likes jay so much and as far as I know he'll confess his love for him today".

He sighed and ask Cody "for what? Jay is doing something important", “it’s not your business. Let me in.", "No" after he said that, Cody tries to enter again so he pushed him.

"Hey little, listen. If you need to tell Jay something, do it tomorrow. Don't ruin this day for him." He said and Cody was taken back from what he said, "Why would I ruin his day? I'm just going to tell him that I like him”, after Cody said that he laughed at him and said "I'm sorry but you're already too late" “what do you mean?". After Cody asked, the light went off except for the stage and the event start.

"Can I be your boyfriend?"

"Yes"

The crowd start cheering and Nathan is so over it. He was about to leave but he saw Cody with teary eyes. He's cute he thought to himself. "I told you. You're too late. He already like someone " he said to Cody as he puts his hand on Cody’s shoulder.

"THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!" Cody shout and left.

"What the heck?" Nathan was left there confused.

"He said that to you?", "yes Kyle for the fifth time, yes." Nathan told Kyle everything that happened a while ago on the phone and Kyle kept asking if it was true cause he can't believe that happened. "HAHAHAHA" Kyle laughed and Nathan was confused. "Why are you laughing? This is serious!", "HAHA I'm sorry it's just I can't believe that it happened" Kyle explained. "What do you mean?" Nathan asked. "Oh nothing but I know for sure you're doomed" Kyle said and Nathan got confused again. "Why?" "Cody--" before Kyle could finish his sentence, Kyle hangs up. “Huh? What happened?” Nathan tries to call Kyle again but Kyle text him and said

"Sorry bro but my mom caught me. I need to sleep now”.

Received 1:00am

He looked at the time and it was already 1:00am, so he decided to sleep too.

(NEXT DAY)

"Wow Nathan you took a shower!" Alex said as he took a bite of his breakfast. "f**k you Alex", "Nathan! Language." Diana said while cooking. "Sorry" Nathan answered and looked at Alex who stuck his tongue out. Nathan gave him a middle finger and sit on the chair to eat his breakfast.

"When will dad come home?" Alex asked. "Will he still come home?" Nathan added. "Okay first of all yes. And second of all yes Nathan don't speak like that" Diana said as she put the foods on the table. “Whatever, he never asks us if we're okay" Nathan said as he took a bite of his breakfast. "He never talks to us anyway" Alex said while using his phone. "Enough boys. Your dad is just busy and you know he loves guys so much" their mom said while eating her breakfast.

"NATHAN THE SCHOOL BUS IS HERE!" Alex shouts. "Okay? I thought you're the one who will take me to school" Nathan said. "Oh, Sorry I can't take you to the school today.", "Huh? Why?" Nathan asked. "I need to go to school immediately" Alex explained. "Nathan hurry up, you might miss the bus again" Diana said as she closed the door.

He doesn’t have any choice so he grabbed his things and say goodbye to his family. He saw a lot of students riding the bus and door closed. "WAIT! WAIT FOR ME! “Nathan shouted as he run towards the bus. The driver opened the door and Nathan went inside. All seats are taken now and thank God he saw someone sitting in the back and no one beside him. He smiles and he quickly went to that person and sat beside him.

He put on his earphones and start listening to his music until someone took his earphones. "Hey what the hel--"

"IT'S YOU!"

NO ONE

Cody is still sad and angry on what happened yesterday, that’s why he sat on the last row of the bus so that no one can disturb him. He's just using his phone while waiting for the other students to come and when the bus was about to leave, the bus driver stopped and let the last student come. He looked at the window beside him and he didn't realize that someone sat beside him. When he felt that something is moving in his side, he looks beside him and saw someone familiar.

He examined his face and that's when he realizes… It was the guy who stopped him at the backstage yesterday. He quickly took his earphone and the guy was shocked and said "what the hel--" "IT'S YOU!"
