Gabriel’s POV The first thing I felt when I woke up was pain shooting down my arm. The sharp, burning pain made my whole body feel heavy. My shoulder throbbed like someone had dropped a whole car on it. I lay still, staring at the white ceiling, trying to understand why everything hurt so much. Then it all came back to me.
