I stood at the same spot where I had met him last time. I was filled with anger, and my thoughts were a mess. I kept pacing in small circles because I didn’t even know how to stay still. Everything inside me screamed.
How can they treat me like this? Do they think I’m stupid? Do they think I’m desperate? I didn’t come here to be played with.
I came for help that would finally get rid of Carlota. But I feel like what they did was play with me, because I didn't see her anywhere. And why did they promise they were going to help me in the first place? Now I was standing here like an i***t again.
