The flames were so high. The heat intense. It was next to impossible to breathe, but I couldn't stop. There's a chance I could be lost, but I needed to try my best.
"MOM!" I scream out, coughing as the smoke enters my lungs.
"MOM!" I scream out once more, in hopes of finding anything that could lead to her.
I hear a faint knocking coming from the right. I run as fast as I can, jumping over flames, keeping myself small.
I find a large standing metal filing cabinet, leaning against the wall. There's a giant pillar on top of it. But I can see the faint tremor from underneath. Indicating that she must be in there.
I rip my jacket off me, and wrap it around the beam, preventing my hands from going up in flames. Using all of my strength, I push the beam off the cabinet.
