Anna Being in Christian's arms felt so relaxing last night, so good that it put me right to sleep. My eyes opened, and from what I could tell, it was still dark outside. I didn't know what time it was or how long I had been asleep, but something didn't feel right. The house was very quiet. I sat up without waking the still sleeping Christian, and walked over to the window. I peered out, but there wasn't a single thing out there, just the trees blowing in the night wind. Something felt... off. I started to turn away from the window, but something caught my eye in the bushes. I left the room, rushing outside. I stood next to the old willow tree that was in the yard.
