Chapter 17- Rose POV
Looking at Kelsey, she’s in a hospital bed connected to too many things that it breaks my heart to see my best friend like this. Holding her hand, I hold back my tears because if she wakes up, I don’t want her to see me like this. When the door opens, I don’t look back since I already know who it is. “Rose, please you need to tell them what happened,” says Milo. “Miss Rose, we understand what you and your friend have been through is difficult but we need your statement,” says one of the police officers. “I told you already, I told you a f*****g name, so do your f*****g job,” I say to them without looking back.
Emilios POV
It's been two days since the incident happened, and my poor Rose has been here next to Kelsey the whole time, refusing to leave her side. I called Kelsye’s and Rose’s work and school about the incident that occurred and to contact me if they had questions. Rose told the cops who did it and they have him in custody but we still need her statement since she was there. I sit next to her, “Rose please, I won't leave your side when you give your statement, but you need to tell them what happened,” I say to her. Looking at me, Rose’s once beautiful green eyes that were so bright are now dull with no life in them. “Okay, but I want Zeus with me,” is all she says.
