Chapter 19

Chapter 19- Emilios POV

Throughout the whole time when Rose was giving her statement, it took everything in me not get up and find the damn bastard and kick his f*****g ass for doing such a disgusting thing to a woman. When she was finished she got up and left with Zeus, to head back towards the hospital. Ever since this happened, Rose stopped answering my phone calls, and messages, she even ignores me when I try to start a conversation with her but who can blame her.

Flashback

I see David carrying out Rose and Zeus following him. Running towards them I take Rose from his arms. Looking down at her, she’s crying, I start to caress her face, whispering sweet things to her. When I get inside the car, I have Rose on my lap and Zeus next to us, I tell my driver to take us to the hospital where her friend Kelsey is going to be taken. Once we arrive I make sure Rose is being taken care of and I tell David to pick up Zeus and take him to a vet and get him cleaned up. When the doctors finally let me see Rose, she refuses to look at me. “How come that man was there?” says Rose. “What do you mean?” I say to her. “Don’t pretend like you don’t know,” now Rose is looking at me, “What a f*****g coincidence that right when I’m in danger someone magically comes and saves me.” “Rose, what do you want me to say” “I want the f*****g truth, Emilio! That’s all I’m asking for!” “Fine you want the truth, I hired one of my trusted men to follow you, in case anything happened to you,” I say. Rose is looking at me with disgust in her eyes, she tries to say something but nothing comes out. “Rose please understand, I just wanted to protect you.” “Get the f**k out, your just like that bastard who did the same thing to my friend! HOW DO YOU THINK THAT MAKES ME FEEL!” “BUT IM NOTHING LIKE HIM ROSE!” I yell back at her. But I soon regret it because Rose flinches and is covering her self and is looking away from me. “Rose, I didn’t mean that,” when I was going to reach out for her I see tears in her eyes and I stop. “Get the f**k out! Leave me alone!” is all she says. And I did what she told me, I left the hospital and went back to my house.
