They both came back tired and famished because they ran out of the hostel without taking there lunch.It was nine in the evening already, almost time for their light out,they went into there room and greeted Cynthia their room head. she called them both and asked where they have been throughout the day? "This children where una enter since morning wey person dey find una, una put karara for your senior water con run commot for hostel abi? una go see shege today! no sleep for two of una, rubbish children! oya!! on your kneels two of una stupid girls", she said angrily! Cynthia stood up from her bed, dragging her fat feet on the concrete floor". They both denied putting anything in the senior's water as they pretentiously cried to be free of the punishment given to them, they were also hungry and tired, Cynthia punished them for an hour before letting them go to bed.zara and nafisa ate cornflakes and went straight to bed but they did not sleep instead they kept whispering Abigail's name. Abigail is one of there classmate that stays in same room with them, Abigail kept turning her head to know where her name is being whispered from until they locked eyes with nafisa and she raised an eyebrow to ask why they are both whispering her name.Zara and Nafisa both signal Abigail to come over to there bed as they kept waving there hands to her. Abigail looked over her down bunk were her bunkmate is snoring loud to make sure she isn't caught, Any student caught walking around or not sleeping after light out will be severely punished.

Abigail went to Zara's bunk and sat on her bed as Nafisa came down from the up bunk to join them, Zara asked Abigail to narrate how the senior reacted after taking her bath with the karara water,but Abigail bursted into a very long laughter holding her stomach tight before she became calm and narrated all that happened earlier that afternoon.

"when you both left the hostel,she brought out the water and started taking her bath,after a while she called on her bunk mate to change the water as she rinsed off the soap on her body same time scratching her shoulders and yelling at the bunkmate to hurry up and bring another water, it was hilarious because she was acting weird and dancing as all her body was itchy and she doesn't know the cause. she washed off her entire body and did not complete her bath, before we knew what was happening she started lifting her legs up one after the other matching like a possessed soldier,the only difference is that is not wearing khaki and she's on towel, she was shouting my body ye!

what happened to your body Rabi? one of the senior's asked her but senior Rabi just started crying and sat on the floor outside trying to scratch every part of her body at the same time. her bunkmate came to explain that she became like this after taking her bath, people started gathering around them and before we knew it the whole hostel girls gathered around to see what's going on in our hostel. everyone started suggesting remedies that cures itching skin, some said to rub red oil on her skin,so the bunkmate did so, as they rubbed the red oil all over her she started rolling on the floor as if it worsening it so another person suggested Aboniki Robb, it was brought out again by another person as it was rubbed on her skin once more but she screams louder, rolling on the floor shouting "God"

eweeyyy! eweeyyy! I'm dying! God! God help me! mummy! mummy! Zara and nafisa immediately burst into a serious laughter imagining the scene and wishing they were around to see everything happening in front of them as they watched Abigail seriously imitating senior Rabi as Abigail sat on the floor squeezing her face in a funny way and bending her back, pushing her chest forward scratching her back and shoulders same time and trying to scratch her legs and face as she roll on the floor too to demonstrate well.

One of the roommate work up due to their noise and shouted across the dark room "who are those ones not sleeping and disturbing the whole room, if I catch you girls ehn! you will be leaving this room and sleeping outside nonsense " the senior said with sleepy voice as she goes back to sleep, Zara warned Abigail to speak quietly to avoid waking other's up and getting them in trouble,she warned, in a whispering voice and then she smiled and said please Abigail continue telling us abeg. Nafisa jokingly slapped her lap and said " Amebo no go kill you" they all burst into laughter once more as Zara put her hand on her lips signaling them to be quiet.

The bunkmate suggested that they carried her and sat her down on a chair and bath her...nooooo senior Rabi shouted before her bunkmate finished talking. then they decided to take her to the school clinic, she was taken to the clinic and the nurse told them that she was reacting to a particular leave ( karara leave)as it is called by Hausa people. I knew immediately that it was the both of you because I heard you both planning it out before going to the dining hall for breakfast this morning.
