The Demon King

CHAPTER 11

Rose's POV

We have been to roaming around this castle for at least 15mins and both Blake and Tyler are super silent. I have no idea what they wanna show me , and right now I am super worried about Carol. 

I have a bad feeling in my gut. We turn left and I see a huge metal door. 

Blake then turns around to face me and with all seriousness and says ,"Listen , you need to keep your calm and understand the situation before you say anything. Whatever happened , happened for a reason." 

I nod my head and look at the door. It gives me weird chills and creeps the f**k out of me. It is so dark here , only minimum light is there to look around.

He opens the Door and then suddenly a blind fold is on my eyes. I am about to question how and why this is here when Blake answers.

"You both have blind folds on and I don't want you removing them, because if you do you'll see things that will haunt you for life. Now just keep calm , hold my hand and follow my lead." 

Oh , so even Tyler has it on. I hold Blake's one  hand and guess that Tyler is holding the other.

I only hear the sounds of our footsteps as we walk through this unknown place.

5 minutes later I feel Blake stop. The blind fold was suddenly gone and I blinked my eyes before fully opening them. The first thing I saw was Blake and Tyler standing in front of me. I look around and see it is a dungeon. I try to peek at what is behind these hideous giants but they block my view.

"Rose , it was not my fault. I couldn't have done anything. I am sorry. We both are." , Tyler says.

I am hella confused now. Tyler and Blake move apart and the sight in front of me is enough to make my emotions turn 180 degree, my eyes popping out and my jaw drop to the ground.

Right in front of me is the person who has helped me a lot , stayed by me side through the bad times and always supported me. That person is behind these bars lying on the ground unconscious looking so weak.

That is My best friend , Carol. 

I am so shocked that no words come out of my mouth and I am just standing there gaping at her form. All of sudden the shock vanishes and the concern and anger comes in.

"OPEN THE BLOODY DOOR!" , I shouted as I just wanted to go check my helpless friend over there.

The door was suddenly opened but I did not dwell on the fact as to how it opened on it's own but right now Carol is more important.

I run and kneel down beside her lightly patting her cheek , but she does not even stir.

"WHAT THE f**k HAPPENED TO HER!?WILL SOMEBODY TELL ME!"  , I scream at the idiots who have hung their head low in shame.

"I...it was zeke." , Blake mumbled.

I was now seeing red. 

"CALL DAMIEN. NOW!" , I yelled at Blake.

Blake nodded and soon his eyes looked clouded stating that he was doing the mind thingy with Damien.

In less than two minutes Damien appeared next to me.

"Damien what the heck is this!?" , I questioned him in a very calm manner , but don't avert my eyes from her.

"Baby...zeke did this. I couldn't stop him , they both are mates." , he says while rubbing my back in an attempt to calm me, and I would be lying if that didn't work.

"Mates?Those two are mates?Why would he do that to her then?" , I mumble.

"I'll tell you that later...let's go baby." 

"NO! I AM NOT GOING ANYWHERE WITHOUT HER!" , I yell at him.

He sighs and nods his head and in a second we both are in my room and I was sitting on my bed, while he was sitting on the couch. I look around and see Carol sleeping right next to me and sigh.

"Why did he do this to her? You told me mates love each other. Will you do this to me too?" , I say but my voice breaks at the end.

"No , no never baby. I would die before I let anyone hurt you , including myself. " , he comes to me and hugs me. Bringing my face to his stomach.

At other times I would have kicked his ass for doing this but now I wanted him to comfort me.

"Why did he do this?" , I repeat me question.

But before he could answer someone else says ,

"Maybe because I had no choice."
