Damien's POV

I just finished talking to that desperate i***t. Guess who?... Zeke. That fucker had the audacity to interrupt My flower and my time. Apparently, his demon is going crazy, he wants to see his mate. I really can't blame him though, Xavier would go nuts if rose is not Infront of his sight even for a second.

But, I think Zeke not seeing carol for a while is enough punishment for him. I know how it feels to be away from your mate. I was from mine, for a week and now when I have her in my arms, I'll never let go. I'll win over her heart and win this deal. I actually really don't care about this deal, what I do care about is winning my rose's heart.

When I walk back inside the cave, the sight in Infront of me causes my heart to stop. My flower is lying unconscious near the lake. Without wasting a second I run to her and quickly carry her in my arms.

I dash out of there with my speed and rose safely tucked in my arms. I quickly reach my car and haul us in.

"Drive as fast as the car can go to the castle!", I shout at the driver.

He quickly nods and speeds out of there. Meanwhile, I contact the best healer in my kingdom and pull rose as close as I can to my chest.

It's all my fault. I should have known she would not listen to me. But, stupid me. Wait-- it's Zeke's fault. He was the one who contacted me and made me go away from my flower. If anyone is to blame it is him. Partially me, but mostly him. I swear now, I won't let him near his mate for a month. Let him be in pain. Desperate ass.

I hope she's alright.

As soon as we reach the castle I run with rose in my arms to her bedroom. I tuck her in and quickly call the guard.

Carol who was previously asleep now woke up. She looks disoriented and still can't comprehend anything. I don't even care. I am not gonna waste my time on her.

"Is the healer in?", I ask the guard.

"Yes, My lord. Should I bring him here?"

I stifly nod and focus all my attention at my little flower. I hold her tiny hand in mine. Our hands mold perfectly together.

"What did you do to her!?", Shouts carol.

I growl at her in warning.

"Don't disrespect me. Stay in your limit,human.", Xavier says. I was so lost in the concern for my rose that I didn't notice Xavier take control.

She got scared and moved back. Then the door opened again and in walked the healer.

"Orion, do something quickly and if anything happens to her, remember you won't live to see the next day!", I shouted at the healer.

He nods and quickly gets to work, while I watch him run some tests and magic on her.

All I want is for my rose to be fine. Suddenly the door opened with a bang and Ethan comes running in.

"Oh my god! Is Queenie ok?", Ethan asks in one breath and looks really concerned.

Whereas I am super confused, he is meeting his queen for the first time and already he is so concerned for her. That is like a truly loyal friend. I am proud. But wait-- how did he know that she fainted and that something is wrong?

"How did you know that?", I asked him sternly.

"I may and may not have followed you.", He murmured.

"WHAT!?", I yelled.

Before I could do anything he ran to rose's side and said," look she stirred."

I turned and I saw that indeed she was stirring but not waking up. Her face was morphed into a frown and her hands and legs were shaking lightly. It was like she was having a nightmare?

"Orion! What's happening to her?", I asked.

"Sir, I think she is in a deep sleep and should be awake by tomorrow. Because she is human the effect of her drinking from the lake must be so much that it drained her energy. But I can tell you one thing for sure. She did remember something and it is something deeply connected to her. ", He said.

I nodded, he bowed once and then left.

"What do you think she remembered and why the hell is that girl shaking like a leaf and is looking scared out her wits?", Ethan said while pointing at carol.

I looked at the couch at the end of the room which she was sitting and indeed she was shaking like a leaf and looking really scared. I sighed.

"That's carol, Zeke's mate. I scared her.", I said low enough for only him to hear.

He gave me a look that said 'seriously?'.

He then got up and went towards her.

"Hi! I am Ethan, this i***t's friend. And I am really sorry on his behalf of him. He was just worried for our Queenie here. Don't be so scared.", He smiled at her in a friendly manner.

She looked confused at first but then smiled at him back.

"It's ok. I am not scared anymore but is she ok?", She asked him.

He nodded.

"What did she drink and what will she remember. I am a little confused here."
