There was no name or identifying marks of any kind, it was a homemade blueberry pie. It smelt incredible and was still warm to the touch, I cut a small slice and ate it with my coffee on the couch. Afterwards I cleaned up and call the cable and internet company to do all my new connections, they were very friendly with me and it was nice to talk with them. I settled in nicely, I stayed to myself at home and going went into town when I had to. 2 months into my stay I finally went back to the bar, I needed to top up my bottle collection. I looked up the back and saw the same group of guys from that first night. “Hello again.” Cayden smiled at me from behind the bar. “Hi can I grab the same bottles but 4 of each this time.” I pulled the money and put it on the bar. “I’m going to need to start giving you discount for how much you buy and the fact you use cash.” He smiles at me, “Since your buying, I’ll take a drink?” a female voice said from behind me I turned to see her, she looked like the complete picture of w*********h. “These are take a ways.” I said calmly, she raised her eyebrows at me. “Look if you want to make friends then I suggest you make nice with me and buy me a drink.” I laugh. “I’m not interested in meeting the kind of people who would call you a friend and I wouldn’t waste my money buying you a drink either. Thanks Cayden, I will see you again in a few weeks.” I went to stand up but she grabbed my arm so I spun around and back handed her. “Don’t ever touch me bitch.” I said looking down at her, I heard the people from the back of the bar get up and walk towards us. “b***h, who the f**k do you?” A guy started to say. “I’m the b***h who just put your groups little bicycle on her back so she is ready for you. Don’t come at me unless you’re sure you can kill me because that’s what it will take.” He went to take a step towards me when a huge guy in his 30’s came up and stopped him. “You’re a mouthy little piece.” “Back off Conner, Molly was asking for it and this is still MY bar.” There was something in Cayden’s voice that did not sound like his normal self; this Conner person shot him a dark look.  “Look Cayden I’m sorry for bringing this into your bar, if you help me to get these to my car I will go.” He put the boxes onto his trolley then walked behind me outside to my car, Conner and his group followed us out. “Who you f*****g is driving that?” One of them laughed, which set off the others. “Well some of us actually earn a living.” Cayden loads it all into the boot then comes around to speak with me. “Keep your eyes open, this bunch isn’t known for letting things go.” I smile at him. “I’m not as innocent as I look either.” I got into my car and took off home; I loaded up all my new bottles then set out to cook dinner afterwards while I was running a bath I heard noises coming up thru my fields. . I closed the bathroom door and quietly made my way upstairs to look at my window, I used my other eyes to take a better look. I took out my mobile and dialled the police. “Lupine Police station.” “Hi my name is Eva Williams, I have just moved into 1110 lupine ridge trail and there is a group of 6 men coming thru my fields towards my house and I’m really scared.” I cried down the line, “Stay inside we will be there in 7 minutes.” Then he was gone, I wiped away my fake tears while smiling to myself then walked down stairs and opened up my back door and stepped out onto my patio.
