Aubrey's POV
I sat in the car while Jake drives. The drive was already taking too long like almost an hour and I couldn't stand graveyard silence anymore
"Where exactly are we going to?" I inquired tiredly.
"We will get there soon." He said not taking his eyes from the road.
"You've been driving for like half an hour already. Aren't you tired?" I asked kinda worried for him.
"I am fine." He replied blankly and we continued our journey.
In about ten minutes more, Jake pulled up in front of a small white garden gate.
"Why are we here?" I asked him immediately he got to my side.
"To see my mom." He answered and went to open the garden gate.
