Jake's POV
After I had spoken out my feelings to Aubrey, I felt more relaxed. Though, I wasn't expecting her to accept me for who I be but she showed me how 'love conquers all.'
A part of me got excited but the other part is actually scared for her. But I have put it upon myself to protect what's mine and I am going to give myself a chance to love and be loved.
We got home and she dashed out immediately I pulled up in front of the mansion. I couldn't help but chuckle at her excitement.
I entered few minutes after and went straight to Sharon's room but was surprised at what state I saw my baby sister.
She was covered up in blanket and towel placed on her temple. Aubrey sat right next to her on bed and my father's wife sitting on the other side of the bed.
