Kai Pain, as I had never known, ravaged my body. There I was, pacing the floor of this room filled with Lykonian artifacts, waiting for news when the pain hit. It started in my fingertips, a tingling like pins and needles assa.ulting them. It traveled along my arms, across my chest and abdomen, down my legs, and to my toes.
