It’s so dark, not to mention cold in this sh.it hole. I don’t know where I am or how I got here. I remember the shadow rushing towards me, but before I could scream, everything went dark. Then I woke up in this place.
It’s a tall tower like something out of Rapunzel. There is no door that I could find, but there is a small window. It’s nowhere near big enough for me to climb through and escape. There is never any daylight because it’s always dark outside, meaning I’m somewhere daylight doesn’t touch. Or perhaps there’s a spell over the tower to keep everything dark.
I wish I could contact Kai and let him know where I am, but the mind link doesn’t work here. It’s as if I’ve been blocked from calling for my mate. It’s been days since I arrived here, and the boredom is kil.ling me.
