It caught off a surprise when Tristan mentioned that forbidden name. I hadn’t wondered about her for so long. It was a painful memory that I had to give up on.
“Sebastian,” Tristan called out, pulling me away from my thoughts. My body froze as his lips moved. He placed his hand on my shoulder and comforted me. “I know, it’s horrible but she wants to see you.” He continued with disappointment in his tone.
“Why?” I asked. After so long.
Tristan shrugged, “I tried to keep her away from you and I asked her to leave town as well but wouldn’t, not unless she saw you.” Sounded like basic Claire who would make her way through anything.
“Where is she?” I asked. If she was here then I needed to see her. It would be my first interaction after our breaku
