After exposing my terrifying past to a complete stranger, I got up and went to the washroom to freshen up. I was a bit frightened with my reflection. My eyes were crimson red and swollen from all the crying and drinking. There were bruises on my cheeks and my neck. My foot was swollen as well. The sharp-edged corals inside the water was the main reason behind all the cuts in my body. After splattering cold water on my face, I walked out and limped back to the bed.
