It's June 3rd of 2006. I've been an Agent for a year and three months now. I'm now a Level five agent. I was climbing the ranks fast. Clint was still my partner, but I've also had solo missions. Fury was letting me have a break since I had gotten a call from Billy Black two days ago. He asked me to come to town for a bonfire, said Bella would be there as well. So here I was in Forks, well down on the Reservation on the first beach. No one knew I was coming. It was night out. I smiled, remembering the times I had out here as I walked up the beach. I could see the fire in the distance. I could also see Jacob and Bella sitting on a log next to each other. I hadn't talked to anyone well since March of last year. Paul stopped talking to me after that. I never did contact Rumlow. I was wearing my Asgairdian armor. Fury had said I could wear it as my official SHIELD suit since it was given to me for battle. As I walked up, everyone stopped and looked at me. I just smirked at them and kept walking till I was by Billy. I leaned down and gave him a hug.
"Thank you for coming, Jade," Billy said as he hugged me back. I smiled and stood up straight.
"Thank you for the invitation," I thanked him. I looked to see everyone I knew on the reservation was here. Sam was glaring at me, as were most of the people I consider friends.
"What? Wolves got your tongues?" I asked them, making their glares disappear into that of shock. I looked at Billy.
"You didn't tell them, did you?" I asked him. He chuckled and shook his head.
"I have just finished the legends of the tribe now. Why don't you give them another story?" Billy said. I smiled and got in my jacket pocket, getting my staff and grimoire out of it. The purple mist of my magic encircled the book and the staff, enlarging them both. I held my staff out, letting the purple crystal ball come to life. I let go of the staff, making my magic keep it up. I held the book in both hands, it opened and went right to the pages I needed it on. I looked at the pages then looked back up to the crystal ball.
"Long ago, Frigga came across those that wished to use magic to conquer their enemies. The Quileutes used the magic she granted them to become Spirit Warriors, and later Warriors that could shift from humans to wolves. But everything comes with a price. Frigga made it to where the Wolf warriors would only find their true mate by looking into that person's eyes. She also made sure that these warriors stopped aging for as long as they are to use the magic she has lent them." I informed them. My staff stopped projecting the pictures of Frigga and the first settlement. I grabbed my staff, making the purple mist vanish, my book shut and I looked at the crystal ball.
"Billy asked me here today not to tell you a story about the past, but to give you information on what is to come." I said, I lifted my staff up and slammed the bottom on the ground, making the ball light up and project that of the future.
"For I have seen the future. Bella here was a naughty girl. Getting tangled up with blood suckers. Victoria is out for revenge. She will use a newborn army to get that revenge and destroy Bella and the coven that stands in her way. After their target is dead, they will turn to the town. Wolves will be needed. For I have seen the wolves and Cullen's work together." I said as the ball showed them parts of the battle. The ball went out.
"So your a future teller now?" Bella asked. I just smirked.
"Technically, I am a Demi-Goddess, seeing as how my mother is Frigga, Norse Goddess of Love, s*x, Fertility, Warfare, Beauty, Death, Magic and Witchcraft." I said to her.
"Maybe you should show them?" Billy said. I looked at him and picked my staff up. My hands soon had balls of purple magic around them, my feet lifted off the ground and I went into the air. I knew my eyes were glowing violet. I looked out towards the ocean and lifted my hand, making the water rise up into a giant wave. I used my staff to place a force field around the people at the bonfire. I then brought the wave in, making it splash onto the force field. Sam, Sue, Leah, Jared and two girls I did not know jumped while watching it. Once the ocean was back to it's normal length, I put the force field of magic down and landed on the ground myself. They all seemed pretty impressed. I got in my pocket and grabbed my phone since it was ringing. I smiled and walked off towards the trees.
"Hey Papa Clint." I answered the phone. He chuckled. Clint and I had gotten closer, he was on a solo mission right now. Trying to kill someone called the Black Widow.
"Hey, I need you in Budapest. Me and our new partner need help," Clint said to me.
"What new partner?" I asked, kind of confused. I looked over towards the wolves to see Paul watching me.
"You know the Black Widow I'm supposed to kill?" Clint asked.
"Yeah?" I asked, still confused.
"Well, she's our new partner and we are going to help her take out the Red Room together as a trio." Clint said to me.
"Sounds fun. Be there as soon as I can." I said to him. We hung up and I walked back over to the bonfire and hugged Billy once more.
"Sorry I can't stay longer. I just got called in. Gotta head to Budapest." I said to him.
"That's a shame. I was hoping you would be able to help the wolves in the battle against vampires," Billy said.
"Sorry, but my job doesn't really include vampires. It's more official government stuff. Kind of." I said to him.
"In other words, you kill people and spy on them," Paul said. I could hear the annoyance in his voice.
"No, I haven't killed any one, and as for spying, no, I don't do that either. I'm a specialist, meaning I go where I'm needed and right now I'm needed in Budapest. Besides, we are part of homeland security. Meaning everyone on our radar is a threat to the US." I said before miniaturizing my grimoire and placing it in my pocket. I face the trees and wave my staff in the air infront of me, opening a portal to Budapest. I could see Clint and the red head known as Black Widow. They were sitting at a table in what looked like an apartment. I walked through the portal then closed it behind me. I stepped out of the portal in the apartment only to have the red head turn around quickly and point her gun at me. Clint was quick to push the hand that was holding the gun down.
"Glad you could make it Jade. How was Forks?" Clint asked. I frowned.
"Not really the welcome I thought I would get." I said to him. He walked up to me and hugged me. He let me go and looked at the red head.
"Natasha, this is Jade. She is the Violet Witch I was telling you about. Jade, this is the Black Widow." Clint introduced us.
"Your pretty, you know he thinks of you as a daughter." She said in Russian. Clint was about to say something but I held my hand up, stopping him.
"Thank you, you are pretty as well. I think we can be friends." I said back to her in Russian. She smiled at me. Clint just looked between the two of us.
"Okay, we should probably go over the plan," Clint said. Natasha, Clint and I went and sat down at the table. We went over our plan. I felt my phone vibrating but I was ignoring it. After we decided we would get going tomorrow, I grabbed my phone out of my pocket to see I had two texts, one from Paul and one from Bella.
"So why didn't you tell me you were this Demi-Goddess?" Paul asked me. I rolled my eyes and went to Bella's text.
"So you are a Demi-Goddess? Does Charlie know this? Why didn't you tell me?" Bella texted. I sighed and replied.
"Yes I am. No he don't. And because me and you haven't been that close." I texted back, then I looked at Paul's text.
"I wanted to so many times but I wasn't allowed to because I knew about the wolves." I texted him, Natasha and Clint were talking in the background. I waited for Paul to text back but he never did. I placed my phone back in my pocket and looked at my staff. It showed me Paul and the other wolves. They were all gathered in a living room I didn't recognise. One of the girls I did not know was there. She was sitting on Sam's lap.
"Man, I can't believe Jade is like a Demi-Goddess or a witch or something. I mean, that is pretty cool, but I just wasn't expecting that," Jared said. Paul just glared at the floor.
"Yeah, let's not talk about her." Paul said with so much hate in his voice. I frowned at that. What had happened that made him hate me? I thought we were on good terms, but I guess I was wrong.
"What's your problem? You two were bestfriends before she left." Jared said to him.
"Man, just don't worry about it." Paul said with a growl.
"That explains most of her personality. The Flirting, The Manipulation...." Sam started to say, but Jacob cut him off.
"Hey! She's still my friend and I'm not gonna let all of you talk s**t about her. Paul, you were her best friend and now you're pissed at her because she didn't tell you she was a Demi-Goddess of Witchcraft and Magic. Some friend you are." Jacob said, standing up for me. I smiled. I knew I still had at least one good friend. I just thought it would be Paul. I sighed and looked away from my crystal ball. I turned around and looked at Clint and Natasha, who were talking about the plan. I miniaturized my staff and stuck it in my pocket, then walked over to them. Clint stopped talking and looked at me.
"Does your Grimoire have anything to do with bombs?" Clint asked me. I raised my eyebrows at him and grabbed the tiny book out of my pocket. I held it in my left hand while I used my right hand to enlarge it. It opened by flipping through page after page before stopping. I looked at the book then, back to him.
"Magic bombs are much like those of regular bombs. But they have different ingredients. How many do we need?" I asked him. He looked at Natasha so I turned my head to look at her as well.
"How many can you make us?" Natasha asked. I looked at the book and smiled.
"Will ten be good?" I asked her. She looked as if she was thinking. She smirked and nodded her head.
"Should be good." She said. I nodded and started to tell them the stuff I would need. They rushed off to find me what I needed. Once they got back, I got to work making the magic bombs. Once I had made all ten bombs, I turned and looked at Natasha and Clint.
"Magic bombs are ten times more sensitive than regular bombs. So to make sure that they do not go off before time. I will carry them and set them up. Don't worry, I can get into the building without being detected with a simple little cloaking spell." I said to them.
"Sounds good. Lets get moving." Clint said. I worked all night making the bombs. I nodded and carefully picked the bombs up by magic. We sat out to do what we needed to do. I placed the cloaking spell around myself and the bombs, while Clint and Natasha did everything else. I placed the bombs in places no one would think to look. Once done, I exited the building and waited for Clint or Natasha to give me the signal. I looked up to see Natasha walking with a girl. I knew the plan we were using this girl to get the leader of the Red room to the building. Once the girl entered the building, Natasha looked at me. We both moved till we stood with Clint.
"She's in the office, he is there with her. Blow it." Natasha said. I used my magic to blow the bombs. We all watched as the building started to collapse as the bombs went off on all floors. I looked down knowing we were killing so many.
"Can you two handle it from here?" I asked while looking at them.
"Yeah, I'll meet you back in New York," Clint said to me. I nodded and looked around. Everything was in chaos. I opened a magical portal and stepped through. I was soon in my apartment in New York. I shut the portal and sighed. I walked over to my bed and flopped down. I never liked killing people. Clint was always the one to take care of that part of the job.
