Chapter two Attack on the compound

As I get up and leave my dad’s study I look around the house and head to my room to grab my to go pack and head back to the bunker to get the kids.

As I reach the bunker I type in the code and check on them making sure they are ok there is only 5 kids here and now they are my responsibility to take care of them I put the babies in 1 carryon and the other baby in Lucy’s carryon and then hold the kids hands and leading them out of here safely.

I make my way towards my dad’s car and place the kids inside and head out before the feral’s come back I head to my mum’s cabin we’re only original blood is aloud and I am the last of my line the daughter of The original vampire family and I need to protect my dynasty at all costs.

We have arrived at the cabin and Lucy and I grab the kids and head inside I settle them in and tell Lucy to watch them while I get the firewood I head outside and grab the wood and then I look up at the full moon and close my eyes and take deep breaths in and out I feel tears streaming down my face I then wipe my tears away and shake my head remembering what my parents would always say (tears get you know where they are only a weakness never let anyone see you cry) and I head back inside to see Lucy next to the kids watching them sleep Lucy is my best friend she is not only that but she is also a commander to the original family and her parents are the head guard to my parents.

She is the only family and person I trust with my life and when I get back on my feet I will claim my dynasty and and make sure I will be unstoppable so no one in my family with ever suffer this again that I will promise but for now I need to start a fire.

Lucy “hey girl how are you ? I’m sorry about your parents and the kids I wish I could make all this go away I know I’m a witch but even that’s a stretch.”

Hope “I’m ok and thanks lu I am sorry about your parents I know how much they ment to you and I will always love and support you when you are ready to talk ok.”

She nods her head and heads to bed for some sleep Lucy and I were both born on the same day so that’s make her my guard and she is good at hiding her emotions like me but I will not push her to talk cause I know she would come to me when she is ready till then I will sit by the cabin door and keep watch as it is the only way in and out I then shift my gaze to the right and see all the kids sleeping soundly thinking how am I gonna tell them what happened to there parents and some of them are to little to understand what is happening I then turn my gaze back to the door and keep watch.

The next day Lucy pov

It’s been a crazy night and I did not get much sleep but I heard hope up I think she kept watch while the kids and I slept which I have know idea why cause it’s spelled so that only original blood can enter but I guess everyone has there own way to feel safe I then put my boots on and head down to hope and the kids.

I head to the kitchen and make some breakfast and check on hope I love that girl like a sister and not only would I kill for her but I will die for her and I know she would do the same for me as I head to the front door I see the kids still fast asleep but no hope and then panic sets in I search the cabin high and low only to see her outside talking to the moon and yes it’s morning but even though you can’t see it during the day it’s there you just have to believe it can hear you and since hope is a hybrid she can talk to the moon-goddess but she is also a vampire her wolf’s name is violet cause of her eyes and her vampire name is Ripper cause she is a beast and when she comes out all hell breaks loose and you know better to piss off Ripper.

I head outside to comfort my sis and let her cry it out don’t get me wrong I want to cry to but I was train not to cause it’s a weakness and me and hope knows better but since no one is watching I will let it slide.

Lucy “hey babe how did you sleep ? And what are you doing out here by yourself it’s not safe.”

Hope “ I didn’t sleep and I needed some air and to think on how I am gonna be able to claim my dynasty with just a army of 2 cause I will not let the little one’s fight I won’t.”

Lucy “we could head to my brothers home and live there for a bit till you get back on your feet that way we can keep up with your training and you can learn how to run a dynasty and take back what is rightfully yours.”

Hope “ yes let’s do that the soon the better and safer the kids and me and you will be.”

I look at hope and she looks so numb I have only ever see her look like this once and that’s when her older brothers died and she has never been that same since when they died I think a part of her died to and seeing her like this breaks my heart.

Hope’s pov

Lucy and I head back inside and I get the kids up and ready while Lucy finishes up breakfast then we head to the car I ask Lucy to drive cause I wanted to get some sleep before we have to deal with her brothers cause even know I know they have my back they are still crazy and ruthless when it comes to the people they love and care for.

Lucy pov

We have arrived the kids and hope are out like a light sleeping and as I pull up I see my brothers I have 4 of them there all ruthless and psychopaths but with family they will always be in your corner no matter what.

As I put the car in park I look and smile at my brothers and then look to my left and wake up hope and then open the car door and run and hug my brothers tight.

Lucy “hope wake up we are here.”

Hope “ I’m an awake.”

I watch Lucy run like the speed of light towards her brothers and hug them tight. I kinda feel a bit jealous that she is hugging her brothers cause mine are no longer around. I take off my seatbelt and head to Lucy her and her brothers pull me into there group hug even though they were my brothers friends they feel like mine to and to be honest I have a crush on one of them.

I grab the kids and head inside Lucy comes and helps me we put the kids in there playroom and then Lucy her brothers and I head upstairs to see our new rooms I then thank them and they leave I sit on my bed and look around taking in deep breaths and crying in silence I then lay back and doze off to sleep wish and praying that my life only get better on from here on out.
