Chapter three the blood moon coven

I wake up to kids laughing and the sun beaming into my room I rub my eyes to clear out the sleep init I then sit up stretching in bed yawning I then get out and head to the bathroom I shower and brush my teeth then I get changed into my training gear and and tie up my heart then head down stairs.

As I get to the kitchen the kids run at me and hugs me all at once with there big smiles and giggles I look down at them and force a smile at them they then head back to the table eating there food I then open the fridge and grab a apple and a bottle of water and sit with the kids eating my food.

I then look around and see Lucy looking at me with a smile on her face I get up and give her a hug she hugs me back and she squeezes me tight knowing I needed the hug.

Lucy’s pov

I head to the kitchen and see hope with the kids eating her food she has always found peace with the kids hearing there giggles and then she looks up at me she gets up and hugs me I then hug her back tighter knowing she needed it.

Lucy “my brothers want to talk about what happened and what you plan to do next”

Hope “ok I have no idea what to do next but I do know I need to keep up with my training and learn everything I can from your brothers to take back my dynasty”

I grab hopes hand and lead her to my brothers office she holds my hand tight I know she is scared but she is good at hiding it.

We make it to my brothers offices and like usual they are late so me and hope take a seat and wait for them I look at her seeing how place she is she has eaten for her wolf side but not her vampire side she needs blood and soon or ripper will come out and we will be screwed.

Hope pov

We wait in Lucy’s brothers office I see her looking at me and she seems worried about me she knows I am pale and have not feed yet as I am in my thought I hear the door open and see Lucy’s brothers enter and sit in front of us they are looking me up and down then looking at each other I know that they are mind linking each other.

Lucy’s brothers pov

Me and my other 3 brothers head to the office were hope and Lucy are waiting for us to discuss what happened and how to move forward with this situation we are in.

Elijah “ hope I am sorry for what happened at your home and if you need anything do not hesitate to ask ok you are family”

Lincoln “ OMG hope girl you have grown big since the last time I saw you.

Snow “dude you saw her last year at the ball”

Daemon “ignore him he’s a bit special that one I think he was dropped on his head when he was a baby”

I look at hope and expecting a laugh or something but nothing I look into her eyes and see the fire that used to be there is burnt out now all I see is pain and anger in them I have no idea how she’s holding it together but I know not to press the matter.

Hope pov

Daemon told me to ignore his brother and I looked at him it was funny but I am not really in a laughing matter and I am in pain cause I have not had blood in days and I am exhausted cause I am scared to sleep cause of what happened to my dynasty and my family.

I look at Lucy’s brothers and try to focus but I can’t cause of my thirst for blood and if I don’t get blood into me soon ripper will come out and that will not be good for anyone and no one here is powerful enough to stop me no matter how much they try.

Hope “ sorry but I can’t I need some air you talk to your brothers and keep me updated I need to get some blood into me before I tare apart this coven”

I look at Lucy and she nods her head I then run down stairs as quick as possible to the basement I know that’s were they keep blood bags for guests when they stay over I grab 2 bags and then head to the backyard and sit under a tree drinking them and watching the kids playing and laughing it make my heart melt knowing how resilient kids are.

I open the first blood bag and start drinking it slowly so I don’t let ripper out even know she is deadly she does have a soft spot for kids and her loved ones but make no mistake she will rip apart anyone who mean me or the people I care about harm.

I lean back onto the tree and drink my second blood bag till I finish it I then lean back fully against the tree and close my eyes I dive into my head picturing the last 48 hours in my head hearing the screams of my coven and the metallic smell of blood in the air in my house and I can’t sleep because of it.
