✰Caitlin✰ “Ugh,” I muttered as I slowly sat up. The first thing I noticed was the pain. A dull, throbbing ache in my head that seemed to radiate down my spine. I tried to move, but my limbs felt heavy, and my head was foggy. My heart started to pound as I slowly looked around me. The room was cold. Steel walls. Steel floors. One door. No windows. I was on a hard – but thankfully – clean mattress and there was a toilet in the far corner. I managed to get to my feet and the first thing I did was to try and open the door. It was bolted shut. I sighed and I could see my breath. My pulse started to hammer in my ears, and I sunk back down on the mattress. I pressed myself into the corner as every muscle in my body screamed in protest.
