Sanjana POV I'm a Barbie girl in a Barbie world Life in plastic, it's fantastic You can brush my hair, undress me everywhere Imagination, life is your creation Come on, Barbie, let's go party! I woke up to constant ringing of my alarm. I lazily opened my eyes and checked the time. “s**t! Moly (my best friend Monika Malhotra) will kill me today” I cursed loudly. I quickly completed my morning chores and wore my white tank top with blue jeans. I quickly tied my hair in a messy bun.  I applied a pink lip gloss on my lips and eyeliner to highlight my eyes. I gave a quick look at myself and ran towards the dining area. I was shocked to see Moly sitting with my parents and having breakfast. “Good morning Mom, Good morning dad” I wished them and sat next to dad. “Good morning bacha (child)” they said in unison. “Moly (my best friend Monika) what are you doing here early in the morning?” “Good morning to you as well” she ignored me rightfully and continued with her breakfast. I chuckled at her answer and started having my breakfast. Suddenly dad cleared his throat to speak. “Sanju (my family and friends call me sanju) we want to talk to you something important” “What happened dad? Anything serious” “Bacha we know you have just completed your MBA and you want to work” Mom said in a serious tone. “It is just that you are going to turn 25 in two months and your dad and I have been thinking about your marriage.” I was shocked at her words. I am not against marriage and like every girl I dream of having a grand marriage. But I haven’t thought about it. I was brought out of my thoughts when mom started speaking again. “I just want you to just meet the guy once and then you can decide. The end decision is going to be yours.” “Bacha don’t think that we are forcing you for the marriage. If you want, we can cancel the dinner. You are our priority and we just want you to be happy.” Dad smiled and kept a hand on my head. “Mom, dad you will never think bad for me and whatever you decide will be for my betterment. I will come with you for the dinner.” Mom dad smiled widely after listening to me. I thought, ‘just a small yes can bring such a big smile on their face and I can do anything for their happiness’. “See uncle it told you Sanju will say yes, you were unnecessarily getting worried about it from yesterday.” Moly replied “Moly you knew about it and still you didn’t say anything to me” I pretended to be angry “Uncle told me not to mention it to you. He wanted to talk to you personally. He only wanted to know if you like someone or not.” She smirked. “Dad you know I share everything with both of you and even if I liked someone I would have told you people.” I frowned “Sorry bacha, please don’t feel bad. You are the best daughter and we both love you a lot.” Mom said and peaked my forehead. I smiled at her tactics. “Sanju come fast we are getting late. I have a lot of shopping to do” Moly said and dragged me out of the house.  “Sanju come home early we have to reach there by 7 pm.” I heard mom shouting. We sat in moly’s car and left. After 2 hours “Moly come let’s go to the food court. I am hungry. We will continue the rest of the shopping later.” “Sanju please 5 minutes more, I promise then we will have lunch.” “You are saying this line from the past one hour,” I said in an irritated voice. “If you don’t come in next 2 minutes I will leave you and go.”  “Okay don’t go I am coming,” she ran after me as I had left from there. We had our lunch, did a little more shopping and left from there.
