Althea’s P.O.V
It’s weekend right now. At sabi ni Rafael ay may pupuntahan daw kami. I don’t know where pero hindi siya sa manila kundi sa bandang probinsya. Nakatingin lang ako sa labas ng bintana ng kotse at nakakaaliw ang tanawin na nakikita ko.
“We’re almost there,” narinig kong sabi ni Rafael. Tumingin ako sa kaniya at tumango. I still remember what he’d done for my Dad a few days ago, and he said he wants me to live in that house with him. Pumayag ako since that is his request kahit na ayoko. I sighed.
“Don’t worry. If I do that, I will make sure to buy another house.”
Remembering that makes my heart hurt. Why do I feel this way when I know that it will happen in the future? At least malinaw na hindi ako permanenteng nasa poder niya.
“Nandito na tayo,” narinig kong sabi niya.
