Liam Trevor’s pov;
As I sparred with my close friend Alexander, the growling of our wolves echoed through the woods. My pack cheered me on, chanting my name as I fought with all my might. I could feel the adrenaline pumping through my veins as I grappled with Alexander, his fangs and claws bared. Despite his skill, I knew that I, as the alpha, had the advantage.
As the moon shone down upon us, we transformed back and forth from wolves to humans, the fight intensifying with each passing moment. With a burst of speed and strength, I charged toward Alexander and knocked him to the ground, gripping his throat with my claws. He tapped out, and my pack erupted in cheers.
After the fight, I called a meeting with my pack members and council. Standing at the cliff's edge, I growled fiercely, my red eyes glaring at everyone present. It was time to assert my dominance as the alpha.
"I have led the Blackthorn pack through many victories, making us the most feared and relentless in the world," I declared. "But now, we face a new challenge. The vampires are preparing for war, and we must be ready. We cannot forget my late father, Zeus, who was hunted and killed by these bloodsuckers. We must rise to the occasion and defeat the so-called Lucian Orion, the hybrid who is an abomination to us all."
"It seems that the rumors are true: the hunter Magnus Wolfman has arrived in town, ready to wreak havoc and claim more trophies in the form of our fellow werewolves' heads. But now, more than ever, we must unite and defend our home against his deadly threat. I implore every one of you to keep your heads down for now, as Magnus is out for blood and will not hesitate to kill us on sight".
"So please, return to your homes and carry on with your lives as I tend to your needs, as I always have. Let us remain vigilant and stand together in this trying time. Dismissed".
As I made my way home and took a much-needed shower, I couldn't help but wonder what the future held for us. It was then that my friend Jenna reached out to me, inviting me to join her and some of her human friends at the club that night. Although hesitant at first, I eventually agreed - after all, I was feeling restless and in need of some excitement. Little did I know, the events of that night would change everything...
As I arrived at the club, I couldn't help but feel the energy pulsing through the air. Women eyed me up and down, entranced by my long greasy hair and bold red lips. They tried to dance with me, some even attempting to touch me and feel their lips on mine. But it wasn't really my scene, so I brushed them off and instead opted for a glass of whiskey, crossing my legs and observing the crowd.
Jenna, on the other hand, was having the time of her life on the dance floor. I watched her from afar, feeling a twinge of envy as she let loose and had fun. But as the night wore on, my patience began to wear thin. I told Jenna that I was tired and heading home, but she begged me to stay.
"Come on, Liam, stay with me," she pleaded. "You're an alpha - what will an alpha be doing now? Pick a girl, flirt, have s*x, and hold some boobs. Just have some fun!"
She grabbed my crotch and licked her lips, whispering in my ear. "You can always have me whenever, though."
I held her hands gently, trying to reason with her. "Jenna, you're drunk. Make sure you call me when you get home. I'm leaving now."
As I made my way towards the exit, she shouted after me. "I'm a big wolf, Liam. I can take care of myself!"
But as I stepped outside, I couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. Little did I know, the danger was closer than I ever could have imagined...
I strolled down the street with a sense of satisfaction, smirking to myself as I relished in my cleverness. But my mood quickly turned when I heard a howling coming from around the corner. My wolf senses heightened as I realized that danger was near. Suddenly, a searing pain shot through my arm as an arrow pierced my flesh. I tried to remove it, but I was too weak to pull it out. Then, to my horror, another arrow pierced through my shoulder, and I knew that I had to run.
As I fled through the subway, I saw a shadow behind me, and I knew that my pursuer was close. To make matters worse, my phone had no service, and I was on my own. I stopped at a corner to remove one of the arrows, and that's when I realized that it was made of silver and laced with wolfsbane. I knew I was in deep trouble.
Suddenly, I saw him - Magnus Wolfman, my arch-nemesis. I tried to heal, but the wolfsbane was slowing down my recovery. I ran, but he shot me three times, and I fell to the ground. My wolf kicked in, giving me a surge of energy to keep running. But he shot me again, and I collapsed. Magnus drew his blade and tried to stab me, but I managed to roll out of the way and kick him down. He pulled out his g*n and shot me four more times, and I stumbled out onto the highway.
As I lay there, drained of energy, I was hit by a car. I could hear someone calling 911, but everything was starting to fade away. When the paramedics arrived, they couldn't explain the bullet wounds or the stabbings in my arms. I tried to move, but they held me down, and I knew that my fight with Magnus was far from over.
I stumbled into the hospital, barely conscious and clinging to life. The paramedics were astonished at how I was even moving, let alone alive. But my attention was quickly diverted by a stunning young woman who caught my eye. I couldn't help but stare at her as she led me to the ICU and quickly got to work tearing off my clothes. She ordered the nurse to administer a shot of 500ml, but it barely affected me. The nurse and the doctor, a woman named Delia, exchanged perplexed glances, wondering if I was on steroids or some other enhancing substance.
Despite the injections, I remained conscious and alert. My wolf still growled within me, though it was weak. Dr. Delia ordered another 500ml shot, and finally, I began to drift away slowly. But even as I slipped into a state of unconsciousness, I could still feel the primal energy of my wolf inside me.
Dr. Delia donned her gloves and examined my chest, admiring my well-defined muscles and abs. It was quite a view, and I felt a sense of pride and accomplishment. She began to operate, skillfully removing all seven bullets from my body and stitching me up with precision and care. It was a grueling process, but I knew that with her expertise, I would pull through.
As my body continued to heal, I felt my strength slowly returning. I couldn't wait to get back on my feet and take another shot at the hunter. But my thoughts were consumed by concern for my pack and whether Magnus Wolfman had been able to track them down. I felt helpless lying in bed, unable to do anything.
Eventually, I fell into a deep sleep, and when I woke up the next morning, I was completely healed. I stood up, eager to get back to the fight. As I walked down the main hall, I spotted Dr. Delia, but I quickly ducked into the nearby elevator to avoid her. I could hear her footsteps as she hurried down the stairs to catch up with me.
Suddenly, I saw Magnus Wolfman disguised as a police officer, heading towards the elevator. I quickly grabbed Dr. Delia and held her close to me, covering her mouth so she couldn't call for help or alert Magnus to my presence. I knew I had to act fast if I wanted to survive this encounter.
As her heart raced frantically, I observed her closely, attempting to soothe her with a reassuring gaze. With a grin on my face, I could feel her heartbeat gradually slowing down to a more relaxed pace. "Shhhhhhh," I whispered, scanning the surroundings to ensure that we were alone. As I looked back at her, I expressed my gratitude and flashed another smile. Strangely, I felt like I recognized her from somewhere, but couldn't quite place her. Suddenly, I bolted out of the building and sprinted towards my pack, the memories of my past encounter with her at the hotel came flooding back to me in vivid detail. I couldn't help but ponder the odds of crossing paths with her once more and if it was all just a product of fate.
