Pipers pov

Piper stood next to her father smiling as she heard a door open and close. She looked up to see two men walking toward them, one smiling stupidly and the other had a calculating look on his face. As the two men got closer, one put his hand out to her father.

“Derek, it is good to see you again. This must be your family. I can't wait to get to know you all.” the smiling man said to her father. He was tall and muscular. He had brown hair and warm chocolate eyes. He seemed to have a kind ready smile on his face and sincerity in his tone. Yup, I like him she thought to her self.

“Bennett, how are you this fine morning? Yes this is my wife, Carla, and my daughter Piper. Girls, this is Bennett Scott, second in command here.” her father said.

The other man stepped forward. Now he was another story entirely. He had shaggy black hair that brushed his shoulders and piercing blue eyes. He had facial features that would put Johnny Depp to shame. He was tall and had muscles that went for miles. Pipers mouth started to water and her mind started to wander.

“Wyatt it is good to see you. I want to introduce my family to you. Carla, Piper, this is my boss Wyatt Lancaster” her father said as he turned to them.

Wyatt stepped forward to shake moms hand and Piper caught the most incredible smell on the breeze. Her mouth began to water. It smelled like a caramel latte and sandalwood. She felt something stir deep inside of her.

“Oh wow, what is that amazing smell? It smells like sandalwood and caramel latte.” Piper asked the group.

Everyone turned and looked at Piper with shock and confusion on their faces. Piper was confused as to why everyone was staring at her with their mouths hanging open. Everyone except Bennett, who had the stupid grin back on his face. She looked at Wyatt and he was staring at her. She met his piercing blue eyes and once their eyes locked she felt a snap inside her head. All kinds of sensations and feelings flooded through her body. She felt her breath being taken away as her body was lifted slightly off of the ground and a soft silver glow surrounded her body. Once her feet touched the ground she opened her eyes and whispered one word that was deafening to to the group.

“Mate.”
