Chapter 50
Piper’s POV
Wyatt carried Piper into the house and up to her room. He sat her on the couch and went into her closet, coming out with a pair of black leggings and an oversized sweatshirt. He sat them in the bathroom and turned the water on hot for her.
Scooping her off of the couch, he carried her in the bathroom. “Take a nice hot shower to warm up, Love. Then when you are ready, come down to my office, we will wait for you.” He kissed her on top of her head and left.
Piper stripped off her soaked clothes and climbed into the steaming shower. The hot water felt so wonderful, thawing her frozen bones. After about twenty minutes of just standing there, Piper got out and dried off. She got dressed, braided her hair back, and headed to Wyatts office.
It was a short walk
